SM STATIONERY ART FEST 2018

I’ve been doing art and design works for clients as part of my day job and to be honest, I miss doing personal projects/making art for myself. I feel like I need to attend a workshop/art event just to fuel my drive to create without the pressure of posting online.

I rarely attend events unless it’s an art/music event so I was so excited when I received an exclusive invite from SM Stationery Art Fest’s launch at Mega Fashion Hall, SM Megamall. I used to be part of this event as a demo artist for a participating brand way back 2016 so it really feels awesome to be part of this art festival again. 

ArtFest, now on its 3rd year, encourages everyone ---families, friends, art enthusiasts and aspiring artists---to celebrate creativity through workshops like calligraphy, doodling, slime making among others. Featuring brands like IFEX Papers, Sakura, Faber-Castell, Dong-A,Tokyo Finds, Elmer’s and Pilot Pens

Here are some snaps from last time’s art festival and some outputs during the workshop. 

It really feels nice to learn a different craft, brush up my skills and make time for art again.  I realized that it’s really important to make time for the things you love to do. Get yourself some space, breathe and create like no one’s watching! :)

SM Stationery’s flagship event, SM Stationery ArtFest 2018 will continue to run in 4 other malls until the end of the year.
