i know i tend to type out... half way essays, in intonations that might be better read aloud than read silently, but i'm still very glad i chose to start liveblogging some of these games i play. it'll be nice to look back on this run, or the Smeargle X6 run, and get a nice bit of recollection about them. like how i figured out to get Nuzzle from Plusle in X, or how Kukui straight up whiffed four Cross Chops in a row. especially after how i kept ragging on how it always hit Smeargle. for real, 80% chance to hit.
i'm also pretty glad i managed to beat this run before February, even if my usual shiny hunting plans are. majorly busted at this point. most of the games i wanted to shiny hunt this year were on the 3DS, Arceus being a sort of persistent game until i get those Distortion exclusives. that's gonna be its own post this weekend. eh, maybe Monday or Tuesday, give myself some Splatoon time.
as for expectations... yeah, Hala kicked my ass. he was the hardest fight both times, and my overgrinding in the early game prevented how bad that one could actually have been. there was no reasonable overlevelling i could have done to prepare for the second fight, and the fact that the Chople berries didn't help was a surprise. i was expecting those to be mandatory, but i never successfully used one.
getting Rocks early was a blessing. most moves are easy enough to get, but a few amazing options either weren't available, or were just scarce, with one trainer being available to give it to me. with how much i had to level, i was less surprised about how Night Shade fell off, though i still kept it on one of 'em.
oh, you know, the Totem pokemon system was also a fun shake up for me personally, i only did Smeargle runs twice before, in White and X, and the totem 'mon/SOS system helped make some moves shine pretty well, i really liked that more than usual.
i think that's all i want to say here and now. i'll put the teams' moves under the Keep Reading, and thanks for reading!
the teams moves as the game went, and their Hidden Power types!
Saffron - Water HP -Thunder Wave -> Magical Leaf -Arm Thrust -> Earth Power -Disarming Voice-> Draining Kiss -Clear Smog -> Lava Plume
Viridian - Ground HP -Leer -> Clear Smog -> Spider Web -Quick Attack -> Foul Play -String Shot -> Cotton Spore -Icicle Spear
Cinnabar - Poison HP -Peck -> Acid Spray -Struggle Bug -> Energy Ball -Electro Ball -> Psychic -Spore
Vermilion- Steel HP -Bite -> Shadow Ball -Struggle Bug -Electro Ball -> Thunderbolt -Fell Stinger -> Nuzzle
Cerulean - Fighting HP -Night Shade -> Earthquake -Arm Thrust -> Power-Up Punch -Stealth Rock -> Flame Wheel -Icicle Spear
Fuchsia - Dragon HP -Night Shade -Pluck -> Play Rough -Leech Seed -Bulldoze -> Stealth Rock

ooh, my Hondew berries came in. the only one who really benefits is Cerulean, she only has physical moves. feed her some berries, use a few proteins, and... 55 Attack at level 61! that's... gonna skew my definition of good attack forever.
Totem Kommo-o's coming up, and the plan is simple, though i am kinda banking on Viridian outspeeding Kommo-o. if she doesn't i'll need a plan B, based on the fact that i'm pretty sure Vermilion would be more reliable.
Viridian just hits Kommo-o with Clear Smog to null the aura boost, Vermilion Nuzzles both it and the support pokemon(optimistic), i think i have enough power to punch through Kommo-o this time.
Viridian actually tanked a Sky Uppercut, so she can get a nice little 3 hit with Icicle Spear off before falling. Kommo-o reveals it actually has Protect, i think it's scared. and it's right too, Saffron can tank a Sky Uppercut now as well! definitely a bit over grinded for this, and, yeah, this fight was easier than i thought it would be, even when i first looked at it. i thought i'd have a hell of a time with Kommo-o outspeeding all my pokemon, but being level 45 makes it much easier than i was worried about.
either way, Lusy's second fight is up, and she beat me the first time around. wonder how it's gonna go this time.

oh i forgot. today's new years eves. mine ain't for another 8 hours, but i'll just stick to going for moves today.
first things first, about Stealth Rock: it's a move i still want, just on a different Smeargle. and i believe that there's a way to transfer most status and Ghost type moves between Smeargle on my team, in the fact that there's wild Smeargle available. first things first, finish grinding my recipient Smeargle to 41. Fuchsia has Night Shade, should be quick enough.

grinding Gastly to level 15 was more of a slog than i thought it'd be, and i'm also disappointed that Alolan Meowth don't learn Thief(wild ones of those can have Quick Claws which sell for 2000! a surprisingly good sell), but i'm on good pace to get a healthy selection of Smeargle by tonight. tomorrow, i choose a team!.. before Deep Cut's leaderfest starts, and then pick this up on like, Wednesday. i figured it'd be slow startin', but eesh.

it ain't a 4 rally, but Incineroar just missed 4 Cross Chops in a row. eh, Tailwind from Braviary, think that that run's a dud, but that was a great thing to witness. kinda makes up for all those first turn wake ups.
eh, nah, run's still up. Ninetales missed Blizzard, Lycanroc got switched out on yellow, and now it's back in- free P-U.P. at 5v2 before i know it! Snorlax can take out Cerulean with some two good hits, but i still do like my odds here. Leech it, and... Vermilion would not be stellar against Magnezone, use that one for a while. nearly KOs it while getting KOd in turn, Cinnabar to come out with a hope! there's the Full Restore now, actually. max sleep after that, Psychic still has Twisted Spoon bonus, low health, Leeched!
ok, Magnezone, with Saffron, Fuchsia, and Cinnabar. i should hit it with Leech Seed asap. it misses Thunder Wave, i get a free Night Shade, misses a second T. Wave-
That wasn't the 4 rally i was talking about getting, but it was the 4 rally i needed! here i was, thinking i could just slap out some small short post in this endgame of endgames, an essay per step, you know? just say, "here's something funny that happened!" when this sort of thing...
it's really par for the course at this rate. i figure out what i'm up against, i get some details together, get a plan going, and then have some comedic stroke of luck turn the whole plan and fight on its side, winning in a way i can't expect!
i'll... nah, i'll wrap this up tonight. couple of photos, quick copy and paste of the moves, post it tonight, schedule it to post again after the queue tomorrow.

Lycanroc outspeeds Vermilion, but not Cinnabar. so, 177-189 speed. that got to be quite a gap between the fastest two.
if i just... no, i can't "just skip" Rocks. but if i skip Fuchsia and his Rocks, can i get a good run? No, because i've used all my good Spore luck!
fifth run- IN A ROW- where it woke up first chance it got, and i finally got lucky. i got +3 on Cerulean's attack against Lycanroc, which makes EQ 1-shot Incineroar, and makes Icies a 4 volley against Braviary. i got 3. Brave Bird recoil for the KO, 4v3! i have no idea what Kukui's gonna use next, so... Cinnabar for Spore safety.
Ninetales is back out, so same as before with Spore into Acid Spray spam. 2 hits before Blizzard, and the third one is a crit- first turn wake up AGAIN! this is getting comical. it can KO Cinny there, and Fuchsia can pick up the KO with Night Shades, but he takes a big hit, and it's just him, Vermilion, and Saffron to take out Snorlax and Magnezone.
Leech Seed for passive damage, Nuzzle to minimize what it can do, optimistically speaking, as it only got paralyzed once before getting Full Restored, and i think this run is out of steam. Saffron can go for a Lava Plume burn, and i get that on the last turn after it matters. Magnezone... yeah, just needs one hit to finish it.
for the fact i just need to get a bit lucky, i'm getting a fair amount of bad luck going right now. the only way i can get this to be more consistent is to just grind some levels... and i honestly don't really want to do that, y'know?
it's either that or use items. and for how much i grinded already, might as well just grind until 75. i'm gonna try to keep this no stealth rocks path going, and see if i get a 4 rally on Icicle spear on Braviary by midnight, and if i don't... i'll take a KO, come back to this on the weekend after grinding to the range of 75-78.
i was really kinda hoping Hala would be the end of the challenge, but i think it says more of the standard Diantha set that i was able to beat her relatively easily after Wikstrom and Siebold.

first try is out fast due to me forgetting about Accelerock, but if Stone Edge doesn't Crit, then any Smeargle can live it. it's in range of Accelerock, though.
second shot... Fuchsia as my lead instead, swap to Viridian with a Sitrus berry? no, still to low to live Accelerock. i think i have to even let both of them get KO'd. i really want that Leech Seed for Snorlax, just in case...
what if i give... Fuchsia a Sitrus berry as well, then hit... either Play Rough or Leech Seed on the Stone Edge? then it should Accelerock as i switch into Viridian. if i have any way to not lose either of these two now, this is probably my best bet.
Leech Seed... healed to much for Accelerock, and that was a crit anyways. forget the Sitrus berry, and that looks- ok, first time Stone Edge was used out the gate! and two misses, this looks like a lucky run in. Rocks, Web, last Stone Edge KOs Viridian, i'll try to go Cinnabar to Spore first, then try Cerulean Sweep.
1 P-U.P. before KO to Leeching, that did more than i thought. Incineroar's second out, and... down to 25%. it's Cross Chop gets me down to 1 HP, so i go for P-U.P. thinking Kukui'd heal- misplay now that i'm typing it, EQ all the time there. it lives on 1, and then it hits Cross Chop again since it's 100% accurate. does... he not have healing items? he didn't heal it the next turn. thaaaat, that's huge for me.
Braviary up, and Cinnabar can give it the usual. it lives two Psychics, so tanky thing, Tailwind, and- OH. now he heals! 1 full restore, gotta count these up! this pattern can continue a bit, and it goes down first.
Ninetales next, i think it's Saffron to hit with Lava Plume. Alolan Ninetales, after all. with Tailwind, it can outspeed Saffron though, and hits a Blizzard, and LP does less than 25%. it won't miss Blizz. Cinnabar for the rare Acid Spray spam? it uses Safeguard, no Sporing for now and no healing this time, Ninetales down!
Snorlax is up. we're 3 and 2, this is why i wanted to save Fuchsia and her Leech Seed. she can get a hit in before going down, and Cinnabar proves MVP status again as Safeguard runs out. a few turns later, Kukui's second Full Restore comes out. i have 2 Spore PP left, so i hit the last useful Acid Spray before Spore, and Energy Ball+Leech Seed does a good bite- before it wakes up ASAP and lands a paralyzing Body Slam. i just gotta take the Heavy Slam this last turn it's up.
lastly, Magnezone. Vermilion has Shadow Ball and Struggle Bug, and i think if there's any way for me to win, it's gonna be in these moves. and yet, it landed a Thunder Wave early. i think that's actually it for this run. it's a slow petering out, i'll summarize that much for y'all.
i can't deny that this was lucky already, and if i had gotten even luckier, i could've still won- the Snorlax getting a short Spore and landing that Paralyzing Body Slam being the worst of it. none of the Smeargle actually got 1-shot, so the focus items aren't helping...
a nice long route, and now i know for sure he has 2 Full restores. its getting past the Lycanroc in a good enough spot. and frankly, the easiest way to do that is for it to miss Stone Edges, and i just realized it didn't even get Rocks out this run. MAN.
i'll try poking around for a good lead in without needing TOO much luck, but as it stands, i don't like my odds that much!

while i'm fighting Hala, i'm planning Kukui out on the side. to lay it out, he has a full team of six: he'll lead with a Lycanroc, the fast daytime one, and has a Magnezone, Alolan Ninetales, Braviary, Snorlax, and because i chose Rowlet, Incineroar. he can use Rocks as well... and the Lycanroc and Ninetales have a priority move.
however, i have one 'mon which is in a particularly good spot looking at that whole team: Cerulean! between Power-Up Punch, Earthquake, and Technician boosting Flame Wheel and Icicle Spear, i think she has the tools, it's just getting a bit lucky to make it pull through. figuring out how to manage Lycanroc is the tricky bit: it's a physical attacker with decent enough moves, and lowering it's damage... Lava Plume may have use yet. burning it would work. it'd have to be up last, and hopefully early while still KOing Saffron at that point. touchy, but not impossible. otherwise, Paralysis might be the next best option.
Kukui could always switch pokemon, which would be rough, and if he heals Lycanroc before i get enough going, then the whole thing's moot. the whole plan could've fallen apart at Magnezone as well, if it has Sturdy, but i swear by da ROCKS, babeeee-
jokes aside. the only other issue then would be Snorlax, which i honestly think could actually live a hit at several +attacks. P-U.P. lacks power, and nothing else i have is super-effective.
Hala's beaten, lets get a tentative plan in place. Rocks with Fuchsia, maybe not Leech Seed? Sticky Web with Viridian, hope it lives to also Cotton Spore, go to Vermilion to Nuzzle it into Paralysis, pray for Cerulean sweep. i dunno who can live what sort of attacks from Lycanroc, but Stone Edge should run out fast enough, worst comes to worst.

getting lucky with Spore as much as i want is... a tall order. i need an extra turn for literally every 'mon i'm using it on, after all. lets tally when runs die because Spore didn't last long enough.
Hariyama: |||| Crabominable: | Primeape: |
ok i thought this was gonna go on for far longer, but the first time i made it past Primeape, i won! Hala using a Full Heal on Bewear just makes it more consistent. and, something i didn't expect at all, Saffron could actually live Submission from Poliwrath! exactly 1 HP too. i didn't misallocate the Focus items, not that the Focus Band ever worked. she actually has 100 defense on the dot, so i suppose if any one of them could live it, it'd be her, but i wasn't expecting that in the slightest!
in any case, i'm convinced that this might well have been the hardest fight i'd need to finish before clearing the game. i'm taking a break before actually trying Kukui.

all right, i'm back in the league, ready to face down Hala. beating the other three is relatively trivial, if i need to take a KO or three each fight, they're well practiced by now. every Smeargle is at least level 70 now, which i believe is the highest of the three Smeargle Squads i've trained up so far. heights be necessary.
the ace up my sleeve for the fight is the well known Cinnabar, as his moves are very much necessary. with a Twisted Spoon, it should give his Psychic enough power to finish the job. the other five, Viridian, Fuchsia, Vermilion, Cerulean, and Saffron, are basically in this for the prep work. Cinnabar can only barely solo most of the foes, and i don't think he yet outspeeds Primeape. as such, i expect each one of Hala's pokemon to take out a member this support rapport, leaving just one standing.
Viridian will lead against Hariyama for Sticky Web entry hazards, and Sticky Barb to lower Hariyama's HP. Cinnabar being another level higher, this plan might already go smooth as a Sharpedo, but i will finally dip into my rare candies if the first attempt doesn't do that.
Fuchsia will come in for Rocks on Crabominable, but i've also given him the Focus Band. if he can hold up to the Z move, then i can use Night Shade, making it so i won't need a great Spore. it's usually early in the fight, so i don't mind this gamble, and i'd rather save the Sash for Kukui.
Primeape will match against Vermilion, as i hope that Shadow Ball lowers Sp. Def.. it's a slight chance i can skip Acid Spray after Sporing, but the odds of it happening in the first place are low. i have no idea if this is actually the play. if i get the chance, i'll try it.
Cerulean will match to Bewear to hit a Power-Up Punch, and not much else. Hammer Arm doesn't lower defenses like Close Combat, but it can miss, and this is really her best chance to cause a major swing.
lastly, Saffron can Magical Leaf on Poliwrath. it has good bulk, so it's the only one that actually needs this damage.
that said, damage taken on other sources is still good, as a turn Hala heals is a turn i can spend reapplying Spore, while still effectively getting a free attack in.
if anything can improve anywhere, Vermilion can probably get and use Acid Spray instead of Struggle Bug, but i think there's a chance that move might still be useful in the Kukui fight: Magnezone and Ninetales are special threats.

i didn't really think about it until now, but i'm very lucky that the Primeape doesn't have Vital Spirit.
also, if burning cuts attack in half, and Chople berries cut damage taken in half, then the burns alone are actually just more of a hindrance than a help, because i get a ton of value out of Sleeping. Lava Plume isn't that helpful in this Elite 4, all in all.
ooh, this is a good run... Poliwrath can in fact survive getting hit with two Psychics after an Acid Spray! dang, that thing's tankier than i thought. maximum Spore sleep on top of a Sp. Def drop from the first Psychic is already an ask, but on top of getting to that point in the first place? might as well do a full odds shiny hunt in Crystal.
ok, i'll check one more idea: how feasible is it for me to take out the Hariyama with only one of the set-up 'mons coming out first? since i already have it set up, easy check. Viridian into Cinnabar.
"two or three more tries." right, right.
one more turn of sleep is needed... but Acid Spray+Psychic gets in the sliver range. Cinnabar's actually level 69, so getting a bit more power soon is pretty reasonable. when that Psychic can one hit, it's one less turn of sleep, and this idea might be the way to go.
saying that, it does leave some weak spots in the plan. if i go with Sticky Web, then i can always cover Primeape, but without Stealth Rocks, can i take out the Crabominable? being part ice, that's 25% i'd be missing out on.
that lives by about 25%. needs another turn of sleep now. i swear by the Rocks.
with that turn of sleep, it's basically the last three with another 'mon. if my sole goal is consistency, i'd definitely need more, but i have a slight chance of winning in this run right now!
nevermind. Primeape woke up too early, and Cross Chop is a 100% accurate move against Smeargle after all. i'll go get the Focus items before getting back to Hala and, optimistically, win tomorrow!
i'll just hope Kukui is significantly easier.

all right i'm starting to get a bit tried of just throwing myself at the other Elite 4 members, i wanna try prying apart the Hala fight. now, i did actually get one lucky run so far: Cinnabar's Spore nearly made it through every Pokemon Hala had, so i know about Bewear and Poliwrath now. i don't think Energy Ball is gonna be that helpful, being on the same Smeargle that has Psychic- i am SO glad i got that move, again.
about level 70 across the board. heal up, plop a save in front of him, and first things first: can literally ANY of the Smeargle survive Hariyama's Close Combat with a Chople Berry?
no. that's bad. i think what this has to mean is that Cinnabar and Vermilion, with Spore and Nuzzle, are probably the most important two members on the team right now: with Sticky Web up, they're guaranteed to outspeed everything at least once, and that Spore is probably more valuable than any one attacking move right now. so... i'm looking at a fight with a ton of luck going my way. par for the course!
held items need to be considered. the Chople berries literally aren't helping, so i need a full out offense plan. Cinnabar gets the Twisted Spoon to buff Psychic. Saffron and Vermilion can have some buffing items for their attacks, and Cerulean too, sure.
Fuchsia and Viridian are left, and... ooh, here's an item i forgot existing: Sticky Barbs! that could smooth Hariyama over, depending how much it actually does. Crabominable always comes out second, and it has a Z crystal, so i don't think a second one will help. i need these two to get entry hazards going. do i need Stealth Rocks? i'll take Stealth Rocks. do i have any other items worth anything?
not on me, no. Bright Powder is behind Royal Avenue, so... possible, if i don't want to try for it. Rocky Helmet... not even an option in this game before Elite 4. i can get a Focus Band at route 9, and for being one of the first pokemon sent out, a 10% chance to take a second hit would be worth it, in my eyes. honestly, if i'm gonna be resetting over that, might as well be the Focus Sash. lets see if Z-Stealth Rocks +1 defense lets Fuchsia lives!
no.
putting all this together right now... Hariyama and Crabominable need an extra sleep turn. Primeape needs 1 more as well. Bewear needs 2, but if i crit or get a Sp. Def drop from the first Psychic, just 1. i don't get that this run. at that point, i'm just left with Cinnabar to Poliwrath, so i feel like i can definitely get lucky about it right now. i think i'll give it another two or three tries before bending for the Focus items.

with no more totem pokemon and no buffing moves as far as i can see, Clear Smog has officially outlived its usefulness! i got four more Heart Scales right now. because i literally didn't use them once, i can basically just set them up to handle Hala. i was hoping it wouldn't come to the spiders option, but i'm glad i spent some time getting Isle Evelup going.
the spiders option is Spinarak. at level 52, it learns Spider Web, an entry hazard that lowers the opponents speed by a stage when sent out. while having two speed control options on the same pokemon might not be great, i think Viridian might be the pick to get this, Foul Play and Icicle Spear only go so far against fighting types, and Primeape seems a worthwhile time to learn this. because this is a status move, i can use wild Smeargle as a proxy no problem.
as for Saffron, she already has three other attacks, and Draining Kiss is pretty good thanks to Technician. i have no clue if there's any options i WANT her to have that's gonna matter for this fight. hmm...
the best option might be Destiny Bond or Feather Dance, though i'd have to use the same trick, and i'd rather just try to use it once for non-Smeargle pokemon. Will-o-Wisp isn't an option, not that i have any idea if it'd even help against Hariyama because i don't know its ability. but on Crabominable, if fire is needed, a fire attack might be the way to go, and cash in on Torkoal's Lava Plume. 80 power is too high for Technician, but it comes with a 30% chance to burn, and that's huge. might even be necessary.
i can get the Twisted Spoon in a quick trip back down to Malie City's Outer Cape, aaaand... ooh, one of those. route trial captains, however you wanna call 'em, the one over in Poni Wilds has the Focus Sash. it means resetting after every attempt in case it doesn't work out, though. i might diss gen 9 a fair bit, but making it once per battle instead of once... ever? best upgrade in my eyes.
buncha research, done. here's hoping i don't need to look up anything else. now to put it all together.

all right. eh. same as ever for Hala.
his lead is a Hariyama. high HP, Night Shade's no good, but Leech Seed might be great, if i live any hits. Close Combat is horrid however... 2 down instantly. unlucky on Cinnabar's Spore sleep turn count, but those Psychics are too weak if they came out sooner. it's slower, so i will take it down eventually.
Crabominable is second. that's a Z fighting move incoming. it ALSO has Close Combat, and is tankier than i remember Crabominable. hell've 'n L to take.
lets try again, with Cinnabar's usual go-to while holding a Chople berry. that is, Spore, Acid Spray, better move- in this case, Psychic. he outspeeds, no Fake Out... since it's the start of the fight, i'll go for greeding strats, 2 Acid Sprays. and the Chople Berry doesn't even MATTER to it, dang. all out offense sees me to take on his third 'mon, Primeape. it outsped Saffron's 152 speed, so nothing doin' this time. it used Cross Chop instead of Close Combat, though.
at minimum, i need something to boost Psychic. at most, i need to level into the 70s. and frankly, this is looking like an at most issue. Kukui might not even be a problem by the time i've surpassed Hala again.

Acerola... honestly, same thing as always in these fights, Fuchsia lead. my biggest advantage is that i have no normal type attacks, while her strongest attacks are probably also ghost.
Fuchsia meets Sableye, and it still has Fakeout. i almost wish i liked using items. Rocks meets Z-Headbutt, but that misses, so now... Play Rough does about 1/3, Shade to do a bit less. 2nd up, Frosslass, to which i switch Cinnabar. her Confuse Ray's a dud, and it actually outspeeds Cinnabar! 2 Acid Sprays and an Energy Ball won't be enough, and it hitting 2 Blizzards will be. Viridian's Cotton Spore feels right. her Foul Play did a ton, actually, got a KO there.
Dhelmise is third, and it's the one i was expecting and worried about. i think this might be Cerulean's biggest appearance. Rocks + a 3 rally of Icicle Spear does half, and its energy ball... ain't that bad? another 3 rally sees it to red, and she doesn't heal it as Cerulean takes it out. Palossand is fourth, no sense switching. another 3 rally sees to about 2/3 left. lets switch in Saffron for Magical Leaf... just less than 1/3, and the returning Earth Power is a lot. Fuchsia can take it out with a Night Shade if it doesn't heal, which it won't.
last up is Drifblim! Vermilion hasn't touched the field yet. Nuzzle sees a Full Heal next turn, to my Shadow Ball's Sp. Def drop, Nuzzle to Amnesia... oh, it's spammin' now. it's maxed out now. Baton Pass?
IT CAN'T HIT SMEARGLE LMAO
NEXT IN LINE FROM MORTY'S GENGAR IN HEARTGOLD!
with this effective 6 v4, that's a little exp more, so i'll heal up, prepare, and save for the last one. good ol' Kahuna Hala, who i think is gonna be the hardest fight here.

second up, ehhhh... Olivia? Olivia. again, a Fuchsia lead. all these Elite 4 members have 5 pokemon, so Stealth Rock is never bad, not to mention that Sturdy is most likely to pop up here.
and on the battle field, she leads against Olivia's Relicanth. ah, Yawn lead. i can switch to Cinnabar- Yawn again. Vermilion? Hydro Pump. eh, 2/3 hit, just hit a Thunderbolt, take the KO, back to Cinnabar, Spore, Acid Spray, Energy Ball. at -2 with x4, that's a KO! Lycanroc's next, my guess for fighting type move. same trio of moves? i get lucky for the turns it sleeps, but Cinny will need something to boost grass moves to make it KO. Stone Edge, Crunch... no Brick Break? huh. Cerulean's usual assault makes progress.
third up: Carbink! +1 EQ with Expert Belt boost is sorta pitiful. Fuchsia's Night Shade... bit less than half. Seed into Shade. whittles it down, and fourth is Probopass. Saffron's Earth Power does like a quarter, and she gets hit by T. Wave, and it also has Sandstorm, which boost Sp. Def. she manages to power through paralysis enough to get it down, showing the last, Golem. Alolan variety, naturally.
the Smeargle don't have enough HP left to win this time, though, but i know all her 'mons, and if her Lycanroc doesn't have Brick Break, all the better for me. i'm gonna reset this try though, check out this Distortion that popped in Arceus, and move on to. the third one. forgot her name right now. ACEROLA!
