idk thinking about coriolanus and sejanus wearing each others dog tags when they return to the capitol after their time as peacekeepers. whenever one would go off on business, the other would cling to their dogtags. it was almost like having them there with them still.

coriolanus would kiss his love goodbye at the train station, only having minutes before he had to leave for the world's most boring press conference, before taking his old dog tags out of his pocket and draping them around sejanus' neck, telling him "when you miss me, just look down, and i'll be there."

or when sejanus would be stuck in one of the districts for a few weeks, having promised to help his organization rebuild homes for those in the poorer districts, would heat up the small metal slabs with the warmth of his palm before pressing it into his lovers own palm.
