Debating abt starting a Mer au fic but I can’t decide on Marco/Ace or luffy/law
#lulaw#lawlu#marace#marco/ace#i say things#the secret third option is shinkami from mha but that’s so very niche#I know I want only one person to be human and they’re gonna be a scientist#there’s gonna be a lab setting for most of it I think#I just can’t decide who should be the mer#bc they’re gonna be pretty feral at least in the beginning#so if I do marace I think it’s gonna be Ace as the mer#if it’s lulaw I think it could actually go either way?#altho idk that luffy would be a good scientist bc I know the struggle of being absentminded in the biology field#like all love and everything but luffy would NOT put up with the bullshit they require for a degree#he does NOT have the attention span for all this busywork#I think law would be a v good feral mer with luffy being completely unshakable and unafraid#but I also like the idea of a very clingy mer luffy (who’s already kinda feral in canon) only cooperating with law#it’s gonna come down to who my nerd ass can comfortably assign a species to tbh#also if anyone has thoughts on this lmk i love outside input when I’m brainstorming
