TV Anime Koisuru Asteroid 1st PV Announces Its Five Main Voice Cast

  The official website for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Quro's four-panel slice-of-life manga Koisuru Asteroid (Asteroid in Love) is updated with a key visual and an 80-second first PV to introduce its five main voice cast. The clip introduces the voices of the anime's two main characters, Mira Konohata (CV: Tomoyo Takayanagi) and Ao Manaka (Megumi Yamaguchi). It is also confirmed that its yet-titled OP and ED songs are performed by Nao Toyama and Minori Suzuki, respectively.

     The manga has been serialized in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Carat since January 2017, and has released two tankobon volumes. Its story centers on the protagonist Mira Konohata, who promised to "find asteroids" with a boy she met at a camping site when she was a child. In high school, she wants to join the astronomy club, but from this year, it merges with the society for geological researches and now becomes the earth science club. Then she reunites with the boy she met and learns he is actually a girl named Ao Manaka. Ao has also remembered her promise with Mira, so the two start their activities at the club to fulfill their promise together.

  Daisuke Hiramaki (Wataten!: An Angel Flew Down to Me) team attached to direct alongside series composition writer Yuka Yamada (Wataten!) and character designer Jun Yamazaki (Uchi no Maid ga Uzasugiru!). Doga Kobo (How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?) works on anime production. It is set to premiere in Japan in January 2020.
