ABOUT THE MUN: First thing's first, let me introduce myself. My name is Shannon and I have been roleplaying on this hellsite since 2011. I've been through many blogs, one such including a Clara Oswald that I made after Rings of Akhatan aired on television. Only recently did I decide to raise back the mantle as I missed writing on tumblr and was watching the new Doctor Who and realized how much I missed writing in the fandom and writing as Clara specifically, so here I am. I am 28 and I use she/her/hers pronouns.

RULES, PROPER.

CANON COMPLIANT?: I write Clara as multiple things, being both in canon and out. I want to write Clara in multiple universes, so I welcome crossovers, be them having Clara visit your world or you being put with the Doctor! The TARDIS is great for being a bridge between worlds, and thankfully we have many TARDIS here.

REPLY TIMES: I am a full-time worker who is also acting in my free time. I am auditioning and filming on multiple sets in my free time and paid time off. I also am married and am trying to be better at having a social life outside of the internet so please do not expect fast replies. I am bad at either writing things super fast and hitting reply immediately, or I am trying to make a mold of my body on the couch and don't want to move. I try to queue things so there is that but I like replying to things and getting more things up.

SPEAKING OF WRITING, I am very bad at writing small things. Apparently I held back from writing for so long that whenever I begin a reply my brain decides I need to have at least 500 words minimum with no double spaces. Please never feel like you need to match length. I use small text and icons and do not care how you write or what your style is. If anything is hard for you to read on my page please let me know and I'll do my best to change things for our replies, but my default is small text, long replies, and icons that keep moving down my writing because where is Clara emoting the specific icon? It's a very detailed process.

SHIPPING: So, you know the joke about characters being boiled down to seeming like they're constant flirts? Like, you need to spritz them with water like a cat who is doing something bad? Yeah, that's not really what it is like here. Clara is a flirt always but, depending on verse and timeline wise, she might be more subdued about it. Flirting can be a coping mechanism and a defense, especially if it is post Danny. I feel like Clara absolutely uses flirting and romantic encounters as ways to numb the pain and to get information that is needed. THIS DOES NOT MEAN I AM FORCING A SHIP. Please note, over everything, I ship chemistry. If it so happens I have chemistry with a lot of writers, so be it, but I want it to be natural. Shipping doesn't have to mean romantic, it can be any number of relationship type things. Give Clara platonic friends, one-sided romances, etc. I just want to write and expand Clara's universe.

SPEAKING IF SHIPPING, WHAT ABOUT SMUT: I don’t write it. I don’t judge people who do but I have never been good at writing it and it makes me uncomfortable so for my own personal reasons I have decided that I will not write it. I will write what leads up to it and am happy doing fade to black and then picking up the next morning. Thank you for understanding and if anything, I’m happy talking over IM or something to decide if le hanky panky was like… good or not? So I can have the character act accordingly? Because it’s not great and mind blowing every time and I like discussing because maybe that’ll affect our story but also maybe not.
