#grishaverse#shadow and bone#the darkling#aleksander morozova#like im sorry but there is NOTHING about this man that doesnt appeal to me#except that he somewhat suffers from what i like to call ''im gonna destroy the world!'' syndrome#which is when a supervillain goes ''im gonna destroy the world!'' and its like ''okay... and then what? my guy thats where you live.''#but thats really more of a leigh bardugo beef than a sasha beef#which is almost always the case with igdtw! because doylistically you gotta have an antagonist and sometimes you want him to be Evil#and the easiest way to do that is to have him intend to do something insanely awful that would never be remotely plausible irl#but in this case its really not even that severe because the Plan is uh bad but the underlying motivation holds up pretty well#so its easily solved with even a fairly light application of au fic
