Different anon regarding the konoha girls being straight discourse:
I don't really have a question for you, Maddie. Sorry that this is just a rant in response to those other asks you were sent, and also, this might be too hot a take, so feel free to ignore.
I headcanon most characters as Bi because I myself am a Bi woman and also being in a straight relationship doesn't negate being Bi, so it goes with almost every character (except those characters that are explicitly shown to not be attracted to the same gender). However, that also doesn't mean I'm going around saying "x character is Bi in canon" unless they factually are Bi or fighting people who headcanon a character as gay/ace or what have you. Hell, sometimes people saying a female character is Bi is exhausting because they want the female character to not be straight, but they also only want to ship her with a male character and want to be "woke" at the same time.
I honestly hate the mindset some people have of "being straight is boring" and "Let's make a character LGBT+ for fun/to make them modern/to be woke." It's not a quirky trait that automatically adds interest, likeability, and depth to a character, likewise being straight doesn't take away from any of those aspects. It's how the character is written that determines all that. LGBT+ is a detail, like their appearance. It isn't the be all end all some people (mostly young "woke" people) make it out to be. (Now, it is nice to have LGBT+ people be represented in media, but this "straight is boring so let's make everyone LGBT+ to be fun" mindset is not the way to do that.)
In all likelihood, Kishi intended for all the characters to be straight. That doesn't make them boring. That doesn't make them unlikeable. That doesn't mean they can't have friends/be friendly (wtf?! Who said that? I just wanna talk). That doesn't mean they aren't interesting. And that isn't wrong. The Konoha girls don't need to be LGBT+ for me to like them as written (would it have been nice if a few of them were? Yeah. Does it detract from their character development in any way for them to be straight? Not at all).
Also, anyone who called Hinata a Breeder obviously had nothing intelligent to say in the first place. What a disgusting thing to say.

It doesn't matter if this wasn't a question, it's a good read and important information that needs to be spread ๐Ÿ‘
