#today's art adventure#I'm borrowing from lacnunga's design for him a lot here mostly because I really like what they do with the buttonholes#and also because I have not actually checked to see if I have enough red fabric for his coat and I Am Afraid To Find Out#so I am conserving it wherever I can#the fit's not perfect but I've put a bit of lacing in the back which should help with that#however the more layers I end up with the more the shape and the articulation gets lost#he's already losing a bit of posability around the elbows in particular although that might be because of the weight of the sleeves#so on account of that I've been thinking I might actually skip ewen's waistcoat and just put contrasting facings in his coat#to sort of Imply one... eeurgh I really have cut my own work out for me with this one.#(note how distinctly I have been Ignoring certain things I do not quite yet have my brain wrapped around how to construct... alas...)
