this game does a great job of bringing byleth into fights and scaring the absolute shit out of me…. once she fucking sees you she is after your ass until you run away, and then she goes off to take three strongholds in like two seconds ….. so so good…..

BYLETH IS FIGHTING SOTHIS? FIGHTING AGAINST HER POSSESSION?? how long has she been aware of sothis? did the half second she was gone become a whole intro into godhood … but once sothis merged with byleth the first time she disappeared… but she’s here now? and for how long? “WHY SOTHIS?” ?????????????

3h/h au, shez ends up tracking byleth down to remire, finds byleth leaving her quarters with her dad,, “hey ashen demon! remember me!?” byleth: 😐😐 jeralt: who the fuck are you kid

and then shez drawing her sword out “you killed my company! i’m here for revenge… draw your weapon and face me!” and jeralt’s like “really…” and then the lords show up “can you help us , some bandits are chasing us” and one of jeralt’s soldiers run up like “boss, the bandits are here” and jeralt turns to byleth who nods to him, and then says to shez “you can try killing my kid later, right now we have to protect this village” and shez is like “ugh fine but the second we’re done it’s on sight”

and that’s how byleth becomes shez’s professor

one thing that i’ve been thinking about is when the sword of the creator is coming into play… if i remember correctly, the death knight and his lackeys break into the holy mausoleum and try to steal it to give to the flame emperor (who is edelgard and has the crest of flames, making her be one of two people to be able to wield the sword.. but i digress) ……

but like now that edelgard got rid of TWSitD, she doesn’t really have a need to wield it anymore? she has control of garreg mach, and presumably has access to the holy tomb and the mausoleum and any relics that are there… it doesn’t get brought up, but i can see that rhea orders for the relics to be transported away from the invasion… but i’m just curious to see when byleth will show up with sword, assuming that she ever does get to wield it ..it was a really cool sword… edelgard you must release the sword at once like WHERE IS IT WHO HAS IT
