i really love lotsb so much,, it gives so much... liara asks shepard to open up about her feelings about the mission, and after expressing her frustration about it all.. how tired she is of dealing with it all; cerberus, the council (and the alliance), losing the support of her closest friends (ashley and anderson),, liara reassures her and praises her for her accomplishment of saving horizon... but shepard still feels like a failure and a fake .. colonists were still taken because cerberus baited the collectors there, cerberus is still sacrificing human lives for their agenda.. and then she asks 'arent you going to tell me to not work with them?' and like THATS THE REAL KICKER HERE.... because we have two instances where shepard has been confronted about her dealings with cerberus from her closest friends,,, garrus and tali.. and we know they trust shepard completely... but for her to experience some doubt from them hurts... but liara never doubts shepard, and brings up that she was the one that put shepard in cerberus hands in the first place (the ones responsible for akuze) .. liara crossed that line first.. and she still trusts shepard to do the right thing despite it... and that trust?? comes from when they first reunite.. looking forward to me3 and the iconic "I knew it was really you from the moment i touched you again" .. LIKE THE DIALOGUE IN LOTSB JUST CEMENTS THAT LIARA WAS WITH SHEPARD 100%... isnt that insane??? isnt that fucking nuts???????

the way the sole survivor shepard and cerberus were connected years before any of the reaper threat began…

I still am disappointed that they didn’t have shepard mention any feelings about akuze and cerberus. other characters always mention it to them, but there’s no special dialogue really about them being angry or anything? vasir brings it up in lotsb and shepard can say “I know what they’ve done. it doesn’t matter” which can make sense if shepard is just trying to get the collectors dealt with from the help of cerberus so I guess it doesn’t matter… but talking to miranda about past cerberus experiments with jack and the thorian/rachni, there’s no mention of akuze… I think it would have been a good opportunity to see miranda try to fumble with a justification, but she probably wouldn’t fumble at all and say something like “you wouldn’t be the woman you are today if it hadn’t happened” and THAT could have caused conflict or something … it doesn’t even really get brought up with the illusive man too, he wouldn’t apologize for it and I want to hear him say so …. me1 was cool for having missions about the psychological profile you choose, but the sole survivor one could have had a lot more impact in me2 … idk like any mention of akuze always comes from the mouth of other characters

how many people in the alliance silently gave their support to Cerberus,, how many resources were secretly allocated to this group….. how many of them knew that they were fighting against the alliance,, that they were turning humans into husks, that they were gonna attempt to take over the citadel…….. how many of them are still alive after the reapers are destroyed..
