I have to post more about Solaire. I absolutely love this little boy. Honestly, when I was sick a week or two ago, he stayed by the left side of his terrarium, closest to where I was laying on the couch, the entire time. It may sound silly, but I think this little boy can sense when his momma doesn’t feel so good. I’ll pick him up and he’ll put up a fight to not be put down back in his enclosure. He loves snuggling and being tucked in for bed. I never would’ve dreamed that I would own a bearded dragon but until Chase Joseph Millett told me about them, I was sold. They LOVE hanging out and watching what goes on. Solaire is around 6 months old. I apologize for not doing weekly updates. Solaire is now approximately 3 months old! He’s starting to get some noticeable weight on him when we pick him up, meaning he’s growing and is healthy. Five weeks with Solaire now. He’s starting his second shed. Last night I gave him some water to drink and he got all wet, so I scooped up the exhausted little boy and held him in a hand towel. I laid down and put him on my belly, then pulled a blanket partially over myself and him. Solaire loves to look out and see what we’re doing. He sits in our living room and loves watching us. We’ve also caught him looking up above himself at the TV. He loves bright colors. Last night he was frantically glass surfing so I took him out and held him in my hand. He curled up right then and there.
