Mithras doesn't need introduction as the Prince, with Valerius his ex Regent and Anne the current regent

Hemsworth is Adonis' mawla, Lady Casper is his "sister"

we barely met Janet but she did help us out after a fight, and Cyril Masters is the only vampire in town interested in keeping the Masquerade apparently

Rory McAndrew is Arzel's dad Sire

Arzel's opinion on all of them under the cut

Lady Anne : she's the actual Prince right? Efficient, strong willed, and she seems to handle the town very well

Mithras : very old Ventrue so worthy of respect but like a geriatric grandpa at a retirement house. Everyone knows he's not really in charge

Valerius : also a very old Ventrue but half insane like, why would you let in some Tremere in a Tremere-free town? Also he's Ruth's Domitor and that doesn't bode well

Lady Casper : a successful business owner, very good company though he didn't interact that much with her

Lord Hemsworth : didn't meet him

Janet Latimer : they crossed paths at Ventrue meeting times and she gave some help after the mummy fight, a good fellow Ventrue, he will need to send her a little gift and a thank you note

Cyril Masters : one of the pillars of London since he has some control over the kine police forces, so far he looks like a good ally, trustworthy as far as trust can go in kindred politics

Rory McAndrew : that's his dad, he'd do anything for him, he only ever has good things to say about him

ANYWHO OVERLY LONG AND COMPLICATED ANAYLSIS OF VVV REDESIGN???? More likely than you think

So getting the two stinky men outta the way, yeah they didn’t change much. Valentino actually didn’t change at all, his design was simplified (less hearts on his fluff) but like nothing noticeable. Maybe a color swap but it could be lighting so :p

Vox had most of the details on his face removed and less stripes on his suit. Also his eyes changed and over all is more blue :V 

NOW ONTO MY GIRL WHO DESERVES THE ENTIRE WORLD

Not sure if there is any reason for Velvet’s name change outside of aesthetic stuff as like I said Velvette is literally just French for Velvet, so like in terms of meaning or anything it wasn’t treated like a big deal. It might be a spin on what influencers do in which they spell their names in an unique or fancy way like 

Spelling Doll as “Dahl” kinda thing but I doubt there’s much of a real reason behind it.

Again it is SCARY close how close I got when I drew my own redesign of her, the hair is extremely similar, and the pink stripes were spot on (though I did it with her stockings not on her gloves) plus looking at it closer it seems like Velvet isn’t wearing a dress but instead a crop top and a fluffy vest? Definitely made her look more modern over all, though the goth lolita vibes are very much there she does feel closer to a modern day influencer

I’m really glad they didn’t get her a type of bow tie or a choker with a bow on it (like some fan redesigns before) as too many characters in this show have a god damn bow tie in some shape or form

The big debate of what kind of demon Velvet is ranges on, like most people seem to believe she’s a doll demon which I really don’t see tbh? Like I get the clown/harlequin aspect but nothing about her design rings as doll to me. The theory of her being a type of candy/dessert/sugar demon holds a bit more weight now as I dunno about you but that hair gives me candy vibes 

Also if someone has like solid proof that Velvet was confirmed a doll demon by someone like link me it? I wanna know if this is just speculation based on design or if this has real backbone as I cannot find it anywhere

Once again her position and exact reason for being over lord is unclear as outside of social media and sweets there isn’t a whole lot to go off of.  I just hope they don’t make it where the only reason she’s an overlord is because of her relationship to the other two as that’s kinda lame.

They removed a good bit of her clown makeup which is interesting as the clown emoji on Vivs tweet suggest she definitely has a jester vibe thing going on so HMMMMMM
