people joke about miguel getting nerfed bc of the accident but the way he got nerfed for me is that I wish they would've let him be more morally conflicted... I don't really like it when he just is like the 'cobra kai good' representative to stand behind sam as the other leader, I think it would've been more interesting if the actual extreme loyalty they had in cobra kai had him defend them or try with them more when they've 'gone evil'. He's shown to be hopeful Hawk will join them but doesn't really try with him past being like "Johnny's in this other team" and that reasoning is only going to work with Miguel himself, not anybody else lol. Also this would've been good for Sam's character as well because she and the other Miyagi-Do's never get contradicted in their view of cobra kai as pure evil, that extends to her dynamic with Tori. I still loved the Karate Kid parallels with Tori x Sam in the fight but like it could've been more and it would've made it an easier transition so that when Sam's mom is helping Tori, Sam doesn't completely hates her guts still. Again I know they do bond in s5!! But like. I just wanted it to be different and the top two things that bother me about cobra kai is 1)the way lately everything got framed around Johnny and how it seems like they misunderstand Daniel's character and bought too much into Johnny's pov of it . while ALSO writing johnny badly

2)The way miyagi do members see Cobra Kai as PURE EVIL and everything related to it as the wrong way to do things. Even Johnny does this and Miguel by proxy....

3) How they dealt with the Hawk's hair incident

4) Meta but Aisha was my favorite female character and I love and miss her so much and she and Tori were going to be so GAY together. sad.
