trying to remember if blood testing units would’ve been widespread enough isaac and i are aware of them when sam finds us or not and going with ‘we heard about it on some emergency radio channel broadcast but haven’t seen them in person yet’ bc this whole au and writing this whole fic is also an exercise for me in just completing something, even if the details aren’t 100%
