"Sure," Oberon muttered, not bothering to keep the sarcasm out of his tone. "Thanks for having me, I guess."

He was sure Osamu was the only one who was grateful to have him along [to the mini-Singularity], no strings attached. Jiang Ziya was clearly running through several "damage control" plans for whatever Oberon may do next in his head despite his otherwise friendly demeanor, and Arjuna had a look on his face that indicated that were it not for decorum and his own restraint, he would have already sunk an arrow into Oberon's head the minute he stepped into the Command Room.

Well, that makes two of us. Sort of, anyway.

Before any of them could say anything else, however, Gordolf cleared his throat.
