ディプトニルとシーラジ・アリ・カーンのサロード演奏を聴いてきました。シーラジはディプトニルの師匠アリ・アクバル・カーン先生の実孫です。ディプトニルの演奏はソフトでマイルドな感じですが、シーラジの演奏はキレがあってシャープな印象です。そこにニシャントのパカワジの低音とソウラブのタブラの音色が交わり、全体的にとても良い演奏でした。

演奏後は、出演者全員ディプトニルの家(僕の下宿先でもある)に行き、撮影したビデオを見ながら、演奏について色々な話を聞けたのもとても貴重でした。
