You're right about the army family vibes, haha. But that's the wrong part Germany.

I was born in Nürnburg, I think at a German hospital 🤔? My grandma on my mom's side is German & from Nürnburg. My mom was born in 1965, and then ended up at the same hospital having me in 1990. And yeah both of my parents were in the army. My mom got out when I was born, but my dad stayed in for a full career.

We did end up closer to Landstuhl later on though! 2000-2003 we lived in Weisbaden (specifically Mainz-Kastel). All of my middle school years were at Weisbaden American Middle School.

The new 3-story, 32,000 sqft. XO Marriage Center in Southlake, Texas was designed by Parkhill and built by Pogue Construction.

On the ground floor, the XO Press coffee shop welcome visitors as they enter the building. The Wall of Champions lining the lobby honors the donors who contributed to making the center a reality. A podcast studio located behind a glass wall allows passersby to view episodes being recorded in real-time. There is also a large classroom that seats 150 people and a counseling center that offers private counseling services. Executive and corporate offices, a large conference room and a communal kitchen occupy the second floor.

WHAT TO DO IF YOUR CHILD HAS BITTEN LIP OR TONGUE?

If your child has suffered a severe enough bite to the lip or tongue that it is causing bleeding, clean the area gently with water and apply a cold compress (a cold, wet towel or washcloth pressed firmly against the affected area) to reduce swelling or prevent it altogether.

REMOVING AN OBJECT STUCK BETWEEN TEETH

If your child has something caught between his or her teeth, use dental floss to remove it gently. Never try to remove a stuck object using a metal, plastic, or sharp tool.

BROKEN, CHIPPED, OR FRACTURED TOOTH

If your child has chipped or broken off a piece of a tooth, rinse his or her mouth with warm water, then apply a cold compress to reduce swelling. Try to locate and save the tooth fragment that broke off as the pediatric dentist may be able to bond the fragment back on the tooth.

KNOCKED-OUT TOOTH

If your child's permanent tooth has been knocked out entirely, find the tooth and rinse it with water (no soap), taking care only to touch the crown of the tooth (the part you can see when it's in place). Place the tooth in a clean container filled with milk.

LOSE TOOTH

If your child has a very loose tooth, it should be removed to avoid the risks of swallowing or inhaling it.

TOOTHACHE

If your child is experiencing a toothache, rinse their mouth with warm water and check for anything caught between their teeth. If the pain persists, use a cold compress to help. Do not apply heat or aspirin directly to the affected area, as this could damage the gums. Children's pain relievers can be taken orally.

BROKEN JAW

If you think your child might have a broken jaw, put a cold compress on the area to reduce swelling. Then, call our emergency number and/or go to the hospital right away. The cause of broken jaws can be due to blow to head in an accident or any sport related activities. Very severe head injuries can be very dangerous and even deadly.

AVOIDING INJURY

Parental guidance can avoid dental emergencies for children. common slips and falls around the home can be prevented by child-proofing your living spaces. in order to avoid toothaches, regular brushing, flossing, and dental visits are essential. furthermore, hard foods should be avoided, and car safety seats should always be utilized for young children while seatbelts should be mandatory for older children. if your child participates in contact sports, please inquire about custom-fitted mouthguards to protect their teeth.
