Does pain or age prevent you from doing what you love? One of the most traumatic experiences that I have had to suffer over the last five years is the fact that a career in front of a computer has made me disgustingly soft . . .physically. Now I know that sounds hyperbolic, but hear me out. Being an athlete for most of my life I was used to being incredibly active and energetic. Now that I have moved on from academia and all of my sports activities, my body has responded in kind. In what kind of ways you might ask? For some of you, you may be experiencing the same thing. The first changes we're more than unnoticeable. Packing on more than a few quick pounds was just the start of it. What came after was something I did not expect. Here I was. .    28 years young, but feeling aches and pains that my grandparents complained about. I remember each morning being a struggle to get out of bed with stiff legs, lower back pain, then came the cracking of my feet and knees. All I knew was, was this was not right. No healthy individual my age should be feeling like this.  Over the next couple years I found that it was not a quick fix. It would be a challenge that I would have to tackle and be consistent with every single day. . . . And then a revelation came. It was also simple.
