Human Uzi gifts V the Amazing Digital Circus in an attempt to channel her homicidal tendencies in something else than trying to murder drones (and her). Unfortunately this leads to V's mind getting stuck in the game while Pomni accidentally finds herself into V's body.

Despite N insisting that they have to save her, neither J or Uzi want to rescue V because Pomni is much more friendly and isn't a menace to anyone.

Question is, does V get a new body in the game, or does she take over Pomni's body? Either way, she's probably going to be causing some violence, which I imagine Caine is all for.

Pomni on the other hand gets another new body, and to experience all new exciting horrors! At least she got out of the game. Sure, the outside is equally bad in many of the same ways, but hey, at least it's outside!

(as for why Caine took V into the game but not Uzi. Personally, I'm going with: he realizes how much she also hates humans, so leaves her be; letting her torment everyone in the game.)
