Currently on my easel…. I’ve been feeling like painting for a few weeks now, and the art workshop that @junitagrosvenorartist bought me with Mark Waller @explore.acrylic.painting in Esk last weekend has definitely allowed me to tackle this little darling today. I finally wrapped my head around the da brush and am using the info on painting waves to address the gum tree foliage. (Yes the road needs some work…) but I am super happy with the layers building into the forest and the atmosphere that is starting to build. I finally found the time to start playing with my polymer clay! So these are my first attempts at making jewellery components for nerikomi inspired jewellery to brighten your day! I used a selection of rainbow colours to symbolise the hope that a rainbow brings after a terrible storm - which was kinda topical as we all face our new reality post-covid19. I’m hoping to use either glass or resin to really make these colours pop, on silver plated bezels.
