One of the greatest thrills I ever experienced as an artist was the occasion when my paintings were displayed in a city hall. I remember standing in the hall staring at my work and thinking, “My paintings are in a city hall!” I did my best to not get emotional, as funny as that sounds, but it was difficult. Those kind of memories wil stay with me forever. This picture was taken at that exhibition. It’s of my painting, “Spring Incorporated” which happens to be my homage to one of my favorite works by Paul Klee titled, “Sparse Foilage” (2nd pic). Just wanted to share that memory with you all. As I got older and became more aware of art, I found I connected with the works of Paul Klee more than any other. There is something mostly unexplainable that draws me in. I can look at those paintings for hours. One in particular, titled “Sparse Foliage” (the 2nd painting posted here) is my favorite. It very much inspired me when I began creating my own art.
