Next chapter of Silver Rings is when James and Qrow go talk to the adoption agency and Qrow has his initial interview with the folks there.

Qrow hummed. He thought he’d bought those sweatpants for James last Christmas. The Batman symbols on them made it likely. Qrow loved Batman. James loved Superman. It had been an argument of legend for years.

Until Qrow had discovered superbat and suggested that instead of arguing if Batman or Superman would win in a fight, they should just make the two kiss and raise children together. That’d settled that and, last year, James had submitted superbat erotica (which Qrow had proofread, of course) to a fanzine. They both had a copy of the printed fanzine, which had been shipped out to them for being contributors (Qrow drew the art for James’ writing), in their collections, which now sat next to each other on one of James’ bookshelves.

Y’all ever just write a scene and go why are you like this.
