The Freudian slip. We talked about it once in class. It says that when you say something by mistake, it lets out hidden thoughts that you didn't intend to reveal. Basically, it's like your unconscious betrays you. Today, it did. My unconscious betrayed me. And not in front of just anyone. In front of Y/N. She was talking about a movie she wanted to see. I forgot the name. I wasn't focused at first. I needed a little time. It was our first meeting of the day. I was too nervous. I needed some time to admire her. But that's usual, it's not important.

The thing is, she asked me to accompany her to watch that movie. An opportunity. I accepted right away. I was so excited. Too excited because when she asks me if she will need to remind me of the meeting time. I quickly said no, that in any case, "I think of you all the time so I can’t forget." That’s when it betrayed me. I tried to save the situation. "Not all the time. Just often. But not too much. Just sometimes I think about you." I wanted to disappear. I was mad at my unconscious. Now, not that much, because Y/N laughed and didn't cancel the date. But I'm still mad at it. My confession has to be perfect. I have been preparing it for a long time. I can’t let Freud ruin it.
