So called 'free thinkers' when Willy offers to go fishing.

I wanted to elaborate on a thing I said a little while back, about Elliott's kids (if he had them) calling Willy "grandpa".

A little context, in an AU I call the "Sailor Elliott" AU, I imagined that as Willy got older, Elliott started helping out around the shop and eventually started sailing out to different cities to deliver fish to different stores. In this version of the Sailor Elliott AU, Elliott would be married to the farmer and they have kids.

Sometimes, the farmer is far too busy to take care of the kids and Elliott has to go help out Willy so he takes his kid with him. Alternatively, it's a family fishing trip that they invited Willy to since he would be good at teaching the kids how to fish. When this happens, the kids without fail call Willy "Grandpa".

100% The farmer is the reason why they started doing that. And Elliott might be embarrassed by the term at first. After all, he wasn't Willy's son and (if we go off my headcanon of Willy having an estranged son) he felt bad since he didn't want to "replace" Willy's actual child. But on Willy's end? He was happy. It felt nice to have little kids running around the shop like back when his son was little.

Besides, over time, Willy had come to see Elliott as a son. And as much as Elliott wouldn't admit it, he had come to see Willy as the father he always needed. One that believed in him but also was practical enough to give advice.
