Okay I've been prototyping girlfriends for Mirianna and I've made a breakthrough in Splatoon OC making:

Take an Inkling/Octoling. But instead of a squid or octopus. It's a starfish. I call it: The Starfling.

Not a starling. Because that's a type of bird.

This is a place with a long memory.  You dream that you're standing in front of a polished brass mirror. Your reflection is watching you. You dare not move: if it sees you move, it might lose patience and leave the mirror.

While drawing, the only thing I was thinking was fluffy hair and those Ring-earings, which I thought can be dislodged from her hair to make mini-scythes or boomerangs. Everything else I have no idea.

This gem could be used for gardening, or simply trimming the landscape around them to appease their masters-plans in the colony’s structure.
