Everyone who know me knows I absolutely love Scotland. I’ve lived in many places around the world and none have made me feel this happy, this at home, and this welcomed. I love the place and I love the people and I’m always saying to folk to come up and enjoy it, go to the cities, go to the highlands, go to the lochs... But not now. We have an infrastructure based on the number of people that live here. Our tourism can cope with healthy people that come up, go ‘wow, awesome, stunning’ and then leave, but our hospitals and our amazing NHS Scotland can not cope with lots of people who come up, go ‘wow, awesome, stunning’ and then fall sick... there are only 58 ICU beds in Scotland.
