Harley looked at the man. The first thing she noticed was all the damned scars.
She'd run out to grab vegan Thai food. Ivy wouldn't mind if she came home with a new family member, right?
"Sure, kid, come on."
Harley led him to an old broken down lab covered over with vines. She shouldered open the heavy metal door, and held it open with her heel for him. The lab was empty except the vines criss crossing across the floor.
"Baby! I'm home!"
The vines shifted, revealing a door on the ground. Harley lifted it and looked back at Jason. "Watch your step on the way down."
Down stairs was a long hallway, branching off into rooms that had probably been used for less-than-legal experiments at one point. Vines grew along the walls. An open area had been converted into a kitchen, with mismatched counters and appliances. A child in a pink dress knelt on a stool at an old steel table, pushing a needle in and out of a piece of embroidery.
Posion Ivy sat across from her, working through equations on a piece of paper.
"I brought a guest!" Harley announced, causing the other residents to look up, "this is-" she looked at Jason "Sorry. What's your name?"

so when i was making my current household, she was the second sim i made and i didn't really have a vision for her other than i wanted a cutie girly pop girl to play with. i had just bought crystal creations so i decided to use her to play with it! eventually i had the idea that her novels would be based on different crystals, their properties, & how to use them. she got into the writer career and when she advanced to the level where you choose the branch, i chose journalist, since she's nosy LOL. during her career she would also craft jewelry & gemstones and sell them on plopsy or the occasional table sale. one day while she was at work there was a pop-up about writing an expose piece on the mayor, but she would step down from the journalist career, as well as gained fame. i could have chose to not do that and keep her job, but of course i didn't LMAO. i put her in the freelance writer career after that so she could be titled as a writer but i mainly just focused on her working on the gemology skill, as well as the cooking skill - which she has mastered now! i also just bought the home chef hustle pack, so obviously i made her play through that too LOL but she ended up completing the appliance whiz aspiration!

she's a 2-star celebrity now, but honestly i don't think she necessarily cares that much; she's fine if she's famous, fine if she's not! tbh slay queen. but after a little bit of the freelance writer career with a few gigs here and there i decided to have her switch her specialty to freelance photographer! i don't think i've ever used that option so that's rly the only reason i chose that, plus i always use her to take group pics w the mosquito stuff tripod so she gained some skill from that.
since she mastered the cooking skill, i'm having her work on the baking skill now! i plan on converting the food stall she has to be one focused on sweet treats.

Who’s the medic? Mostly Splinter! But also sorta Raph? But they also all have at least basic medical knowledge??? Idk Explained in previous ask.
Alright, what’s the lair like?
Well, here’s a really rough sketch. It’s pretty basic. Essentially, Splinter found an empty open space in an area of sewers that’s no longer in use.
Over time, he would add to it with old appliances found in the trash/dump/abandoned homes and apartments. His experience as a maintenance worker really came in handy, but he wasn’t as well versed in technology or construction, so it took a lot of trying and failing before the lair actually looked and functioned like a home.
The space was originally all open. Splinter built walls to create separate bedrooms and a functioning kitchen.
The old drainage pool in the corner became a step-down lounge area, where there’s an old couch and some hand-made bag chairs, as well as a tv and probably some old videogame system too.
Between the lounge area and the kitchen is an open space that the family uses for training, since they don’t have a separate dojo.
The bathroom is just outside of the main lair, at the south entrance/exit (I forgot to sketch it). It has a functioning toilet and an old bathtub, as well as some basic medical supplies.
There’s no medbay, as Splinter didn’t raise his sons with the intention of them fighting and potentially getting seriously injured. (He may have to build one on in the future though…)
Raph’s bedroom used to be a storage closet that they (mostly Donnie) used to stash anything they’d find on their outings. But when Raph joined the family (around age 9), they converted it to a bedroom. He has to walk through Donnie’s room to get to his own, but it works.
The lair overall is a mishmash of scavenged parts and old appliances. It’s not fancy by any means, but it is functional. For the most part.
Ehhh it’s a work in progress. But yeah, this is the basic idea for the lair. I’ll eventually have to do some actual designs, but I’ll worry about that when I get to it.

The Voice of the People.
It has always been important to listen to the people around us. They see what we don’t see — the problems that we aren’t aware of.
The people we interviewed came from different colleges and were of various year levels. A lot of them came from the College of Engineering, the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Agriculture, the College of Nursing, and the College of Business Management.
During the interviews, they raised and, upon comparing their responses, shared many concerns such as:
Transportation
Security
Restrictions in appliances
Lack of printing services
Waste Management
Maintenance of school materials
Finances
Storage of school supplies
As we narrowed down their concerns, we focused on these three:
Transportation
Lack of printing services
Storage for school materials
We brainstormed a couple of ideas to address these issues. We had to consider its feasibility, like whether we had the ability to make the product, to be allowed to conduct within the school premises, and if it was more than profitable enough to maintain it. I suggested a slightly modified version of the ID-anchored e-cash system that was already used in my school. Meanwhile, a friend brought up the rela-hotline we discussed during lunch. Someone mentioned a locker system and another suggested to create appliances that made use of solar energy.
Among the concepts we came up with I particularly liked the top three we chose, which were the rela-hotline, the CMU ID e-cash, and the locker vending machine. These three were the ideas we had consulted with our professor, Mr. Reymark Menguito.
After that, me and my group crossed out the rela-hotline idea as it was too popular among the higher years. We also debated between choosing to pursue the CMU ID e-cash system and the locker vending machine. Each idea had its own pros and cons.
With regards to the CMU ID e-cash system, we were inspired by an existing system in some schools, wherein their IDs served as a pass for entry into the school premises and a card to hold load to purchase items within the school. We thought that it’d be good to ease some restrictions with physical money, like the need to bring change since some stores don’t have them. It would also encourage students to get their school IDs, thus helping with security.
However, the system is hard to code, and with our current skill level in that aspect, it would take a lot of time to develop the system, and we don’t have that much time. It is also costly since we need some delicate electronic to develop the ID card prototype.
Meanwhile, the locker vending machine is a concept we came up with with inspiration from similar ones in Japan. We planned on modifying it to be simpler and integrate the PisoNet’s system of converting cash to service. It would address a many students’ need to store their stuff—stuff that they need a lot but is a pain to bring every day. Like the ID e-cash system, it will need a lot of coding, but it isn’t complex enough that it needs a lot of time to develop.
Although the professor was more inclined towards the ID e-cash system, after some debate, we agreed to focus on the locker vending machine, which would give the user a password to reopen the locker after use. The locker also has a built-in timer which charges the user a certain amount of money based on the amount of time they used it.
I know that we have a lot to do. The locker isn’t going to be easy to create. We have to bear in mind security features, technology and time restraints, and the rates we’ll charge among other things. We also need to strategize where we’ll place the lockers and the locker’s dimensions that is specifically tailored to meet each college’s needs.
But as I said before, we can’t get gold without being bold enough to take the first step. We just have to learn to plan to fail strategically and be realistic with our product given the resources. Even if that point would eventually lead to failure, it’s going to be a stepping stone to redefine our business strategy.
