Steph’s Sunday Snippets Last week I had a meeting and got completely off on my Sunday afternoon things to share, however, on the other hand the Annual Interfaith Nativity Exhibit is back on this year (let me know if your kids’ school, of just your kids, or even your choir or just you would like to perform for a 20-minute set during the exhibit).  But today we are back on task!  Here are “Steph’s Sunday Snippets” for today: 1.     Sometimes you must go through trails to get to the (other and) better end. 2.     Sometimes the blessings God has for us is in the GROWTH. 3.     The Lord does not require perfect faith to access his perfect POWER! And here’s a BONUS for today: Ø  It’s a fallacy in our thought process that if we are doing everything right, we would not have trails.  The struggles will be there even when we are living life right.  EVERYONE has struggles.  Again, sometimes it’s the growth involved with the process of working it through.  After the growth there is something better on the other end of going through that trail has better prepared you for, whether now or in the future.  Count your many blessings! I did not make it to church in person last Sunday. But I did  today, blessed.  Here are Steph's Sunday Snippets: 1.      More testimonies are gained on the feet, then on the knees. Get out there and do the work that the Lord has asked of you. When you are helping others to find the light of Christ  and to feel his love you can't help but feel  him; ya' feel me. 2.      It’s not important when blessings will be received, but that they will be received.  We have to remember that His timing is not our timing, His how is not our how… We need to do those things that will help us stay ready and  be in a space to receive those blessing, whenever they come. 3.      You need to learn to pick out the savior's voice among/above the noises of the world. The world throws a lot of things in our ear we need to listen for those things that are uplifting, encouraging, and positive.  We need to block  those sounds that are negative, breed fear, and work to treat is down, to make us feel less than what we really are. By the way there is pink at the bottom of that dress, IJS. Steph’s Sunday Snippets 7/25/21:

1. One characteristic of Christ is to turning outward sometimes instead of focusing solely inward. How can one of the group/family/unit be happy, if one in the unit is sad. A bare minimum we can do is at least pray for each other.

2. “Hard decisions are better made BEFORE you have the problem.” You need to make those choices early on when you have time to think clearly through the choices and while not listening to outside interfering voices.

3. I was reminded by a comment in Relief Society of one of my favorite quotes. When you have a situation that’s bothering you, “think about it, worry about it, cry about it; then drop to your knees and pray about it. Then let go and let God handle it.” It is by grace that we do ALL WE CAN DO for ourselves, then we let God come in and take it from there.
