PERSONAJES QUE SE DESPIDIERON DEL HOSPITAL SIN MORIR

Preston Burke

El jefe de cardiología en las primeras temporadas tuvo una relación con Cristina Yang (¡recordemos que la abandonó en el altar!). Fue el primero en abandonar la serie sin morir. Es más, el actor tuvo problemas detrás de escena que motivaron su salida.

¡Ah! Tuvo su revancha en la décima temporada cuando volvió justamente para ofrecerle un nuevo trabajo a Cristina (S10E22).

Izzie Stevens

Otro de los personajes cuya salida estuvo marcada por desencuentros con Shonda. Sufrimos con su enfermedad y vimos cómo Alex hizo todo por ayudarla ella lo abandonó, pero volvió, rompiendo el corazón de su amado (S06E12)… y el nuestro.

Leah Murphy

Esta interna sí que trajo problemas: fue la tercera en discordia entre Arizona y Callie y, además, fue quien denunció acoso sexual: descubrimos que había denunciado a Callie y no a Arizona. Eso la hizo despedirse del hospital. Pero volvió, aunque su estadía no duró mucho (S13E13).

Addison Montgomery

Apareció en el final de la primer temporada revelando algo que no imaginábamos: Derek estaba casado. De su mano llegó mucho drama para Grey pero a la vez también trajo a Mark Sloan en escena. Addison abandonó el hospital para protagonizar el primer spin off de la serie, el cual se tituló Private Practice. Gracias a los varios crossovers que hubo entre ambas series siguió presente; la última vez que la vimos fue en el episodio If/Then (S08E13) donde vimos una especie de universo paralelo.

Shane Ross

Nunca fue de nuestros personajes favoritos del show. No logramos empatizar con él a pesar que en muchas actitudes nos hacía recordar a Cristina Yang cuando era una interna. Es más, es con ella con quien tiene una mayor relación; podríamos decir que son amigos con derechos, y cuando nos despedimos de él fue justamente porque decidió irse a trabajar con Yang (S10E24).

Stephanie Edwards

Stephanie parecía tener una gran carrera dentro de la medicina, pero parece que poco a poco se fue desencantando. Fue la interna estrella elegida por Amelia. Debemos recordar que tuvo un amorío con Jackson aunque él la abandonó por April. Luego de quedar encerrada con un violador en medio de un incendio (S13E24) fue suficiente para dejar la práctica.

Nathan Riggs

Pensamos que Nathan iba a ser el nuevo gran amor de Meredith, ya que ambos se entendían en su dolor: los dos habían conectado al hablar de sus grandes relaciones, pero la noticia de que Megan vivía cambió todo. Si bien él dudó un poco de sus sentimientos, Meredith fue clara y no iba a entrometerse en su relación. Es más, Mer fue quien ayudó a Megan.

La última vez que lo vimos fue cuando comenzó a a formar su nuevo hogar (S14E05).

Penelope Blake

Fue una de las internas encargadas de Derek que no pudo hacer nada por salvar su vida. Luego la vimos llegar al Grey-Sloan. Fue novia de Callie. Los conflictos con Meredith se plantearon de inmediato, pero ella no dejó de enseñar. Finalmente consiguió una beca abandonando el Grey-Sloan (S12E23).

Sam Bello

Una de las integrantes del nuevo grupo de internos. Sam había tenido una relación, muy intensa, con Andrew De Luca y vuelven a encontrarse en los pasillos de Grey-Sloan. Vuelven a estar juntos evitando sus propios conflictos, pero Sam corría riesgo de ser deportada. Así fue como Meredith le conseguió un puesto junto a Cristina para evitar su alejamiento. Ya alejada de la trama, volvimos a verla (S14E19), pero fue una alucinación.

Callie Torres

¡Nuestra tan amada Callie! Sí que fue duro despedirse de ella. Se casó con con George, se enamoró de Arizona, su embarazo, su tremendo accidente y hasta vimos una lucha por la custodia contra Arizona donde pensamos lo peor: Callie fue una trama en sí misma. Realmente la extrañamos. Su última aparición fue cuando Arizona decidió que lo mejor para Sofía era ir con ella (S12E24).

April Kepner

Pensar que a April la fue a buscar Owen al campo luego de despedirla cuando era solamente una interna. Fuimos parte de su historia de amor, la pérdida de su hijo y el nacimiento de Harriet. En sus últimos episodios fuimos testigos de su crisis de fe; pensamos por un momento que su despedida sería trágica, pero ella volvió a tener a Matthew en su vida (a quien abandonó en el altar). La despedimos iniciando su nueva vida: casándose con Mat y emocionándonos a todos (S14E24).

Arizona Robbins

¡Nuestra amada Arizona! La pediatra favorita, el referente de Karev y hasta podríamos decir la gran compañera de Webber. Realmente la extrañamos, pero entendimos su decisión de permitirle a su hija tener a sus dos madres cerca. La despedimos junto a Kepner (S14E24) y nos encantaría volverla a ver aunque sea una vez…

Ben Warren

Está bien, a Ben lo seguimos viendo en los crossover de Station 19 ya que abandonó el Grey-Sloan para convertirse en bombero. Esta decisión le trajo muchos problemas con Bailey y podríamos decir que casi se separan definitivamente. Por suerte, eso no pasó ya que son una de nuestras parejas favoritas.

Cristina Yang

Se fue de la única forma que podía ser: bien. Cristina abandonó el Grey-Sloan porque llegó a su techo y siempre fue muy ambiciosa. De la mano de Burke tuvo la oportunidad de seguir creciendo profesionalmente. Ok, la extrañamos y nos costó ver a Meredith sin su persona, pero sabemos que está triunfando (S10E24). A su vez, en cierta manera las dos amigas siguen teniendo una hermosa relación. ¿Recuerdan cuando hicieron una videollamada para poder celebrar que Grey ganó el Harper Avery en el episodio 300 de la serie? ES-PEC-TA-CU-LAR.
