The second of my images Commended in The Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year 2022 competition. After climbing the nearby summits of Green Lowther & Lowther Hill in thick fog, I descended to the final summit of the day; East Mount Lowther. As I descended into the col between the hills, the mist cleared to reveal this dramatic view down the Enterkin Pass towards Steygail. I really liked how the power poles descended into the mist, creating plenty of depth and intrigue.
