More incessant rambling about my sploon ocs ahead, wanted to expand on Charlotte's relationship to the NSS agents, specifically neo 3. Charlotte's oc info is here so we're on the same page lol

The agents are very much in the background of Charlotte's whole ordeal, but since Charlotte is a formerly human Alterna resident and is awakened because her pod is found by neo 3, I had to feel like i should expand on their relationship some even tho its short

Charlotte's cryo-pod is found by 3's smallfry, who is her adopted son, after the events of story mode. 3 is the first person Charlotte sees in her numb, half-blind state as she's covered in crystals and can hardly move. Charlotte's awakening from her 12,000 year coma is brought on by her puking water all over 3.

As Charlotte is given medical attention to be able to move again, 3 stays with her, as the rest of the new squidbeak splatoon is having a conversation on what to do with this girl they fished out of a human-branded cryopod. 3 and Charlotte talk some as Charlotte recovers, as she's still in pretty bad shape and can't really move well. 3 states to Charlotte that she can't give her name, but that Charlotte can call her 3.

Charlotte asks if 3 is a human. 3 is confused and asks why Charlotte would say such a thing, as humans have been extinct for thousands of years. It's here where Charlotte starts to realize that things are very wrong. Charlotte asks if ORCA is still online, 3 says yes, and is surprised Charlotte knows about ORCA at all.

It's 3 who shows Charlotte her reflection in a mirror she brings over, and it dawns on Charlotte that she's somewhere very wrong, and her own appearance looks like these strange people who rescued her rather than the face she knew. ORCA confirms that her pod lost contact about 12,000 years ago, and that she was presumed dead, alongside every other citizen of Alterna who perished in the rocket incident. Charlotte gets hit with the terrifying realization that her loved ones are gone, her home is a wreck of what it once was, and being no longer physically human, she has nothing to prove for it.

3 believes Charlotte when Charlotte says she's a human, and decides to stick with her as she recovers and can start to move and walk again. Eventually Charlotte is recovered enough to be housed, and Charlotte asks if she can see 3 again. 3 says she doesn't know, but she'll see if she can arrange something one day.

When Charlotte is discharged and flown into Splatsville to get an apartment with her roommate, Tsunami, she can't help but think about this weird girl, "Three" who was down in Alterna, and wonders if she'll ever see her again. 3 was sort of her only real tether to reality amidst first waking up to a world gone wrong. But she at least gets to see the surface and live normally again, so she'll try her hardest to put missing this girl behind her.
