Heads up, this one is fine but you'll notice if you look around Strike Gently Co's blankets- I'm pretty sure a big chunk of recent ones are AI generated

I was about to suggest Inner Decay to get cool woven blankets, but I went to double check and now he has a bunch of AI generated blankets too. Bummer!

my house, smack in the middle of a neighborhood, kept getting marked as a generically named electronics store on google maps. Found out because we started getting junk mail addressed to it. Took a few times for the correction to stick

Google Maps is worse than useless - actively harmful

Hard to overstate how enshittified and botshitted Google Maps has become. Went looking for my local locksmith on Gmaps. Maps shows 20+ fake locksmith referral scam outlets and doesn't even register the real locksmith, despite it being fully visible in Street View.

Instead, a red pin on the shop identifies it as a fake locksmith scammer. The real locksmith - which has been there SINCE 1942 (!!) and is a verified merchant - doesn't even show up.

Google has been promising to clean up locksmith scams since the early 2010s, and has completely failed. A company that can't figure this out - but still has $80b for a stock buyback! - does not deserve the 90% market share in search it spends $26b/year to maintain.

Ohh yes, particular attention to the cleaning supplies, Mr. Super Clear spray, super glue, and thread!

to a lesser extent, and more expensive, so if youre feeling extra generous- the pan pastels, sherpa fabrics, storage/desk organizers, the power tool battery, and the damn Liquid IV as a treat for me to keep me hydrated this summer (its so hot in this office man...)

What kind of paint do you use for your clay? I need to get more to pad out my palette but idk what kinds are usually good ... I just rlly wanna get back into sculpting and stuff but idk the Industry Secrets for like. Where u get the good shit. Aaanyway .... O lov ur arts and sculpting and dolls they all fuck severely*does a sick kick flip and rides off into the sunset*

Wouldn't call anything I use "the good shit," shout out to cheap acrylic paints by: Royal Langnickel (the small tubes that come in a big multipack) craftsmart (Michael's generic brand that is better than you'd think) Arteza, Decoart, etc etc. the "nice" stuff I use alongside these are Novacolor and Stuart Semple. I do not have a lot of money so I collect nicer paints over time when cheaper shades aren't cutting it, like vibrant colors. Old powder makeup (ie eyeshadows) can be used the same as pastels if you use pastels for shading. A final clear coat can be as simple as a can of polycrylic in the finish you want

sorry if this is a question you get a lot but do you know/remember the first art doll you ever made & why/how you started? your art is really amazing & inspiring to me so i just think seeing how you started off would be interesting, but i understand if you dont want to show it or anything heh :P

Would be this one. Still holds up, imo! Ive been sculpting, painting, sewing, and just all around crafting for my whole life so the difference isn't super drastic. I started because my buddy @s3rnielsen said "hey you have those skills, put them together and make dolls" and I said "sounds good to me!"

May be a predictable answer for me, but ASSAULTRONS from Fallout 4 are CUNTRESSES!!!! Some people are really horny for these things but for me theyre the perfect blend of utility and womanly to be super camp in my eye. Look at its wedge heels and pincers. And the fact that theyre fucking SCARY, running in a full sprint at you to blast you with massive, ear-splittingly loud laser right out the center of it's head.

Listen. The dolls I'm working on right now are gonna have some tiny bubbles and imperfections. i'm fixing them the best I can but you will have to learn to be ok with some barely visible bubbles.... i beg you....

If it's okay to ask, did something happen with Heartbreak Gulch? Forgive me if it's imposing, I was just surprised at the shift away from it because you seemed so keen :(

I was made privy to a deep financial issue that I didn't know about, so I have to put down the toys, so to speak. It hurts a lot to put them on hiatus, because it felt like I was really getting somewhere with it, but they don't pay the bills, and drawing takes up a lot of time I could be using to work. HBG will still be there, it's hung around my head for 8 years, but I gotta go cold turkey for now ❤️

Hopefully everyone that followed for them will stick around, I'm sure I'll squeeze in some doodles here and there, and my friends are still drawing my characters when I can't!
