The Sovereign is really proud of living a long ass time lol Even the like. “special” vampires like him are not typically very long lived because in this world vampires from different families don’t often get along and a LOT of people throughout history have wanted this mfer DEAD because of his position of power and what he represents and also because they’re just haters. Like. He is approximately 4000 years old at the start of our little story, which is VERY long lived. Tahire (his wife) is 3500ish years old, and Andhira and Azetahn are both about 1000 years old. For reference the average life span of even the highest born vampires is like. 800 years!!! these bitches are geriatric. (the most geriatric bitch of all was the FIRST Sovereign aka his dad who finally got murdered when he was like 8000 years old. That dude was alive when people invented pottery lmaooo)

ANYWAY what he is actually Truly proud of is like. negotiating the end to the slaughter of humankind (he has always sympathized deeply with mortals lol), establishing the Order of the Old Blood (even if people twisted its original purpose and ended up ruining it, it started out as an Extremely Significant pact that had never been seen before between humans and vampires specifically), managing to maintain the boundaries and alliances between all the other Big and Important families around the world, AND of course raising two lovely (if sometimes deranged) children with his beloved wife. :)

Andhira tried to have her father killed once :( Well technically, it was her brother's idea, but she was the one that made the plans because she knew nobody would ever in a million billion years expect that SHE would be the one to betray him. Being the Sovereign's next in line is a very high-pressure gig, and at one point she got involved with some people who did an excellent job of twisting her perception of who/what her father is actually like (which is, well, pretty stupid on her part but she also used to be very naive) and she thought she and her twin would do a better job of things than he ever could. Obviously it didn't happen, and it really didn't even come close to happening, but she is STILL unbelievably guilty about it. Even like 700 years after the fact. And nobody knows except her brother and mother, and they sure as shit aren't going to be spilling the beans about that to anyone ever.

Daffodil: Who is your oc's favorite person, the one person who can do no wrong? Is this person really like that?

LOL IT'S LUKA. Vera loves both her uncles equally, but Luka is like. her GUY. He always has her back, he always knows what to say, he always looks out for her, he is her bestie, etc. Josef is the one she's actually related to (her mother's brother) but from the way they act, you would think Luka was her literal father. Growing up, she wanted to be his shadow and he got her into artsy-fartsy shit (I mean... she was a kid in the 60s/70s to a gay couple so it's impossible NOT to get a little bit artsy-fartsy lol), and he nurtured her artistic talent in a way that Josef kind of uh. didn't. Not that he discouraged her or whatever, but he was more like “listen, my darling child, I am the greatest hunter who ever lived and you come from this long line of hunters and you have natural aptitude and your uncle Josef would really appreciate it if you followed in his footsteps. Please.” And she did and it was great but obviously it also WASN'T at times! But Luka never wanted to push her to do things because he saw how much the pressure to Attain Greatness weighed on Josef's shoulders and he didn't want that pressure to fall to Vera next.

Anyway, he's not perfect and still made a whole host of mistakes in life and in raising her, but he is still a good man and is still Vera's bestie :)

IN CONCLUSION:

My feelings are everywhere. Some songs disappointed me but some blew me away - soon you’ll get better is basically the new Never Grow Up for me which is saying a lot. Everything is catchy a hell though even the songs I didn’t like as much. Ultimately i would have liked more songs about varying subject matter esp. self love but as it is, it is still somehow so all over the place. It really just shows how many emotions and phases can be contained within one relationship (i mean I’m assuming every song about a relationship is about joe). I really think that the song about her mom maybe should have been placed somewhere else...I don’t know where I would have put it but that shit is HEAVY. I am so honored that she and her family would share that with us though. Next to you your phone vibrated, the notification being from Instagram. It was a message. You picked up your phone and stared at the screen.

At this point all that came from you was a sigh. You were used to these kind of comments. In fact, there’s not a day that passes without you getting one. Another message rolled it’s way into your direct messages, mean words on it as well. It hurt, but you weren’t as effected by it as you used to be.

Mark didn’t know about the mean comments you were getting, it’s not that he didn’t care, you just didn’t tell him. You made sure to delete rude comments from your posts before he could see them. Because knowing him, he’d say something and that’ll result in..you guessed it. Even more hate. Little by little, you started believing their words. You didn’t deserve Mark. He was this famous idol with lots of supporters and a job that was a dream job for many others. Many people would expect his girlfriend to be just like him, famous and attractive. No matter how many times Mark told you you were beautiful, you didn’t believe him. The hate had tarnished the little confidence in your appearance that you had.

That’s why when Mark’s company confirmed your relationship after many rumors and pictures that floated around, not everyone was accepting of it. Some didn’t like the idea of their idol being with someone, some didn’t like that he chose you, and the other fraction of them just didn’t like you. Even if they didn’t know you at all. Not all the fans were hateful though, some were sweet and accepting. Those were the kind of fans you knew were real ones. Your thoughts drifted away when you felt someone sit next to you.

“What’s on your mind, babe?” Mark asks, his arm snaking around your middle, pulling you closer to him. You rest against his chest and shake your head, brushing off his question. He hums in response and begins to talk to you about something. You don’t hear him though, your mind clustered with other things.

“So, yeah?” You blink rapidly and look at him with your brows furrowed in confusion. “Huh?” Mark laughs at your expression and lovingly kisses the top of your head. You were still confused on what he asked you but you smiled nonetheless.

“Were you even listening to me Y/N?” He asks you. You pretend to think but stop, shaking your head while laughing. All he does is laugh against your hair, his head shaking.

“Well, basically I was saying that it’s been a while since we went out together so we should go on a date tomorrow. How does that sound? Do you want to?” He was right, it’s been so long since you two went on a date. You kind of avoided it, having this constant paranoia that a sasaeng fan will catch you by yourself and fulfill their threat of attacking you. Yes, most of the hate comments and messages came from teenagers who didn’t think twice about what they were saying, but you couldn’t help but fear for your well being when you read the threats.

You look back at your boyfriend, feeling an aching in your chest. His eyes held so much hope and his teeth chewed on the skin of his bottom lip, waiting for your answer. Your brain kept reminding you of the sasaengs, telling you that you should suggest a stay at home date. But you didn’t have the heart to do that, to brush off his suggestion.

“Yeah, lets do it.”

Mark smiles widely and hugs you tightly, your face being pampered with his kisses. His happiness made you smile, and knowing that you caused that smile made it grow wider. You brushed away your worries about the fans, knowing that you’d be safe with your boyfriend by your side.

You wake up, stretching your limbs out since being in the same position for 8 hours. Like every other day you turn on your phone and look at your notifications. It was the same as every other day, messages from your friends, your mother and of course, the hateful messages.

“I already exited out of the app..” Mark frowns but nods in understanding. You look at him properly and see that he was already dressed up for your date today. As always, he looked good. I mean, what doesn’t he look good in?

“I’ll go get dressed now.”

You two walk around the area, laughing and talking with each other before your date. It felt like the old times when your relationship was a secret between you two only, when the thought of someone jumping out of the bushes and starting something with you didn’t cross your mind.

“Hey the restaurant is over there, lets hurry up before there’s no space left for us.” Mark walks ahead of you and holds your hand, leading you towards the small restaurant. Couples or college students sat on the outdoor tables, talking with the person they were with or sitting by themselves, eating silently. Mark lead you inside, and you two ordered your food.

“Today is a beautiful day,” you comment, sitting down. Mark sits across from you and nods, looking around at the outdoor scenery. He then looks at you and smiles, his eyes full of adoration for you.

“Yeah, it’s beautiful. But not as beautiful as you.” You stay silent and blush, avoiding eye contact with your very cheesy boyfriend who was smirking at the reaction he got from you. Your food arrived shortly after, the waitress smiling at you both as she set your plates down and then she walked away.

“And so he fell..and dabbed. Bambam is stupid.” You laugh at Mark’s story about Bambam, and he laughs along with you. Your laughter was contagious, he adored the way your laugh sounded and so he couldn’t help but be happy as well. Mark downed his water and was about to take another bite of his food but a feeling hit his stomach.

“I’m going to go to the bathroom, Y/N. I’ll be right back!” Mark sent you a playful smile before running inside. You laugh softly and continue to eat silently by yourself. Out of nowhere you heard your name being called by a voice you didn’t quite recognize. “Y/N?” You turn and face a small group of girls.

“Oh my god, it is her!” one of them yells. Some of them send you looks, the rest are too busy typing away on their phones at a fast speed. A tall slim girl walks closer and looks you up and down.

(just a little warning, i abuse y/n here, lmao so if you’re not comfortable with that stuff you can skip, i’ll put a —)

“God, you’re uglier in person. I can’t believe Mark oppa looks at you and thinks you’re pretty..” she says. You look away and instead stare down at your lap, trying to block out their words.

“Why are you even eating? You’re already too big, you really need to start dieting. If you keep it up, you’re going to be a fatass pig.” Your eyes stung, a lump forming in your throat. You wanted to cry, to yell. What did you do to them for them to say those words? How can they be so rude and careless?

“Aww..is the rat going to cry? You’re a disappointment. Why don’t you just kill yours-” The girl couldn’t finish her sentence because the voice of your boyfriend had interrupted her.

“Hey! Don’t talk to Y/N like that. Who are you to say those words? You don’t even know her.” The group of girls look at Mark in awe, shocked at his arrival. You too were shocked. He came back earlier than you thought he would. You wanted them to say their insults and then leave, Mark being back after it had happened. But he had caught them, and now you sat there scared. Scared of what he’d say, of what he’d ask you. You knew damn well he would ask you why you didn’t tell him about it.

“O-Oppa! She started insulting us first!” He wasn’t stupid. You would never start an argument with people you didn’t know.

“I know you’re lying. Do you seriously call yourself a fan? A true fan would be more accepting. You don’t have to approve of our relationship, just don’t insult the love of my life like that. Now, go. And don’t even think about coming near me or her.” The girls looked hurt, tears glittering in their eyes. Without even fighting back they turn and walk away, leaving you two alone. You’re still staring at your lap, tears now falling freely down onto the material of your jeans. Mark kneels in front of you, holding your face in his hands.

“Why..why didn’t you tell me they were saying those things to you?” You didn’t answer him, you didn’t want to. You couldn’t. Mark sighs and grabs your hand, enveloping it in his. He pulls you up and you two begin the walk home.

Once in your apartment you head straight for your bedroom, wanting to wrap yourself in blankets and cry. Mark stops you though. “No, Y/N. We’re talking about this. We need to talk about this! Why didn’t you tell me? That’s- that’s not okay!”

“I don’t need to tell you everything, Mark! Leave me alone.” You barely took another step before you felt his arms around your waist, his head resting on your shoulder. His body shook against you, and you knew he was crying. You frown and turn, holding him closely.

“I’m sorry I just..I just worry about you, you know? I don’t want to fight about this. I’m not mad at you, god no I’m mad at myself. I could’ve stopped this, I didn’t even bother to ask if you got hate. You don’t deserve to be told those things.” He hugs you tightly, letting his tears dampen your shirt. You didn’t care, all you cared about right now was him.

“Why are you apologizing? You did nothing wrong. I know I should’ve told you, but I..I was just scared. I was scared you’d scold your fans and they’d hate me even more.”

“Why do they even hate you?” Mark asks, chuckling softly. He wipes his tears away and smiles at you. “You’re great, I don’t get what’s so bad about you.”

You smile at his words, squeezing his hands as if to say “thank you.” Mark takes out his phone and holds his phone up, taking a photo of you while you were smiling. “Mark! Why’d you do that?” He’d taken a picture of you without warning, and you were scared of what he was going to do with said picture. He types something and then puts his phone away.

“Oh nothing..I just wrote about how much I love you.” You shake your head and pull him into another hug.

“I love you more.” At that moment, your phone vibrated in your pocket. Despite knowing it could’ve been another hateful message, you check what it was. Your lips tug into a smile as you read it, shoving your boyfriend’s shoulder.

Accidentally made a “do not that” meme that still sometimes plagues me to this day ldkfdk A dream-bubble/dead Karkat who’d been murdered in his timeline’s Gamzee’s rampage and only had one eye, he was a biiiig favorite. I loved having enough energy for that all; typing that much shittalk??? Was one of the most fun things I’ve ever done in roleplay, holy shit. Entire fucking PAGES of just these absolutely USELESS rants because that nubby little shit had so much passion for it. Fuck. I loved Karkat. A bloodswapped, cobalt-blooded Karkat who was also post-game for a pre-established timeline where trolls and humans co-existed on the same planet(s). He was a Thief of Blood and a massive asshole; at his worst, he was manipulative, isolative, vengeful, restless… But also, he was a really big dork??? He LOOOOOVED spy movies and probably popped boners regularly for Black Widow and James Bond or the Kingsmen. Fucking nerd. He fancied himself a spy; his best friend was a badass hacker, and they’d (F)LARP together as a stereotypical “you hack, I’ll infiltrate” team. What inspired you to take on your current muse (that you are posting this on): I like… Undertale. And I like Underfell enough that once the idea was presented to me, my mind kinda ran away with it, haha. It started with Hopper, my weird UF Sans! But it feels like every time I approach the AU I have slightly different ideas for it, pfft. I guess with Sixes, I wanted to step away from the skeletons for awhile! I was really excited about messing with Mettaton for it, because I… Really liked listening to the radio for awhile, haha. I thought it’d be kind of cool if instead of being really excited to be seen flaunting himself across a television set, he wasn’t so happy with how he turned out physically, and made his influence a little less directly visible. It fit in well with the seemingly common theme of conflict in Underfell, and things just really exploded from there! It’s hard to summarize in just a few short words. That said, Sixes probably wouldn’t have a blog at all if it wasn’t for tumblr user wibler’s- Sixes’ Sans!- mun coaxing me into giving it a shot! She has a lot of faith in my creative abilities. I dunno what I’d do without her support through the past few years, heheh. She’s neat.

What are your favourite aspects of your current muse: LOUD ANGRY ROBOT LMFAO Shit though, I dunno! I like writing a character who goes through the bipolar disorder motions, the manics and the depressives. I love watching him go hot and cold on characters as he flipflops through his impulses and subsequent regrets. I love that in his timeline, everyone knows him while he himself actually… Hardly knows anyone at all. He’s made himself untrustworthy, and in turn doesn’t trust anyone, either, so he hardly ever opens up beyond… You know. Angry screaming, or shameless flirting and flattery, ignoring personal space bubbles… I love that his Sans being absent kind of smacked him on the nose, because that was someone he was actually making a connection with, but tried to play it off like Sans was just another moment in his life so he kind of treated him like a dick lmao. Deadass knew the poor little dude had anxiety issues and scared him on purpose, made joking death threats, joked about flirting with his shittyass brother… Sixes was such a prick. Fuck. And he realizes that! And after ditching his family just to have a cataclysmic fallout with his other BFF, Alphys, Sans disappearing… It’s something he blames himself for. It kind of sobered him up a little to the way his actions affect people. AND DESPITE EVERYTHING, HE STILL USES HIS CAMERAS (THAT HE STOLE FROM ALPHYS IN A PETTY FIT) SCATTERED ACROSS THE UNDERGROUND AND HIS SHITTY TRAP ROOMS IN HOTLAND TO PUBLICALLY HUMILIATE RANDOM CITIZENS IN A WIPEOUT-ESQUE PODCAST ON THE UNDERNET. At least that assholitude earns him money, though! Fuck. I also reaaallly love how different AUs bring out different aspects of his character, but that’s a rant for another time or place! Hoo. I dunno, man. I could go on about Sixes for like, ever. He’s a really fun muse.

What’s your biggest inspiration when it comes to writing: I’m… I’m not even gonna lie, a lot of it is the positive feedback lmao. I don’t, uh. Do much these days, creatively or recreationally speaking, and I don’t really have a lot of friends IRL… Er, any, actually, if you’re only counting closehand. All my friends live hundreds of miles away, and it sucks. But this is… Simultaneously social and creative. I get to talk to people, and make friends, and toss creativity back and forth with people, and it’s really fulfilling. I love to be a part of other people’s creative processes! I love seeing what other people do with THEIR characters, and when we all??? Interact??? Mother of God, it’s such a treat! Everyone’s so creative and impressive and inspiring… And hearing/seeing us all go back and forth about what we admire in each other… I’m pretty happy with just being a part of writing, and telling other people that I love what they do! But every now and then it comes back around to me in little ways, and it feels really special. It’s hard to imagine anyone liking my stuff past a “they’re pretty cool I guess, yeah” sentiment, despite my glittering impression of a lot of the writers in the community; so when someone DOES say they like my stuff, even just by saying they like a drawing, or like the way I described something, I go OFF THE WALL LMAO. Straight up dissolve and slip through the floorboards a la Gaster style with how lovely it feels. Shucks… And, you know. Watching characters develop in general- whether they be mine or not- is really fulfilling and inspiring. A good cycle.

Favourite types of threads: Anything that feels meaningful! I love it when two characters make any kind of connection, despite the context. That said, typically “angst” and “fluff” style threads are a big favorite, but there has to be, like… you know. Meaning to it. It feels really… I dunno, cardboardy to just throw a muse into a woodchipper for no particular reason just to have them drag themselves to another muse begging for help or to have a chance to explain some kind of deep, edgy feeling or story. Baseless fluff has a lot more wiggle room lmao, but that can get really monotonous really quick if something more significant fails to spark somewhere along the line. Just so long as something’s getting achieved somehow, I guess! If it feels like nothing’s changed between the two at the end of the thread, it feels really unfulfilling and hollow.

Biggest struggle in regards to your current muse: URRRGH. IMPLEMENTING THE RADIO SHOW/PODCAST THING… On one hand, Sixes has kind of collected the idea that the multiverse is a very indifferent place towards the goings-on within his timeline! And, he supposes, that that suits him fine. Hurts his pride a little, but it’s something he’s just going to curl up and lick his wounds for, pfft. But still! I wish I knew how to make it a little more obvious and prominent- The same could go for his growing industry, too! I guess I’ve just been jobless too long to really have a feel for it like I should, oof… Additionally, drawing him is reALLY HARD… He’s in his classic box form most of the time because he’s really insecure about his EX form, and yet I draw his EX form more than anything because the box is frustrating to draw??? And despite it all, I’m still not sure I’m terribly happy with how his EX form looks!!! He’s supposed to be a little closer to a NEO design than initially planned, as Alphys fully intended him to be a KILLING MACHINE from the start without telling him! But he caught on early on, and they kind of bullied each other into compromising a bunch of things until he was just this “hideous” mess that neither of them were terribly happy with… So, you know. The indecision carried over to me too, evidently! Ugh.
