So I just finished season 3 of The Last Kingdom, and here are my thoughts on the show so far:

I would die for most if not all of these characters

Alfred is so amazing okay, I—

I cannot talk about that man enough wow

And his last conversation with Uhtred was so beautiful

And Uhtred’s speech about Alfred in front of everybody

“He was my king” I can’t

Okay, other than Alfred :

Aethelflaed is such a Queen and her and Erik were beautiful but I totally ship her with Uhtred now

Hild is an absolute badass and I would be completely okay with her and Uhtred together. She’d be so good for him

“You’re too good a woman for god alone.”

Edward is such a sweetie I love him

And Finan. Oh, my sweet, sassy Irishman, how I love you

And my Baby Monk !! God he’s so cute. And got such a wit when he needs it wow

Beocca is an angel and when Thyra died I felt so bad for him, he deserves so much better, and so did she

Also, I miss Ragnar so much

Fuck Aethelwold that little bitch

And Aethelred, another little bitch

God I want Aethelflaed to kill him

And I’ve had such mixed feelings about Brida

Like, I like her, but she annoys me at times

I don’t know

And, of course, Uhtred

God I love this man so much

He’s made some bad choices, yeah, but he’s a good man

And I’m glad he’s helping Edward like he promised

And he needs a warrior woman that hopefully won’t get killed off right after he gets with her

*cough cough* Aethelflaed *cough*

He could use some time on his own, though, I acknowledge that

Overall, I really just love this show and I can’t wait to start season four. It’s gonna be hard without Alfred, but I’m excited nonetheless.
