Day 4 of the Medrol Dose Pack. I didn't post last night because I forgot to take time to find or take a picture. Katie's best friend came over and spent the night. The have known each over since they were 11 and they will be 20 this year. We all spent the night talking, laughing and venting. . . I am much better. My pain level is back to what was before the suicide migraine hit. Not gone, but torerable. In the picture I'm back in my cozy spot on the couch, but its 11am, I'm dressed and we're getting ready to have a family pancake breakfast. . . Day 2 medrol dose pack/day 5 suicide migraine. I am better today as you can see. I up and sitting in my cozy space on the couch. You can still see that the migraine has effected my eyes. I still have the same pain, but it's down a peg or two. . . I'm hoping by tomorrow I can call this a horrible migraine. Thank you so much for leaving msgs. Its day 4 of this suicide migraine. I've been medicating and alternating abortives like Ubrelvy and Reyvow daily. Fuoricet, ibuprofen, tizanidine and ice hace been roulmnd the clock according to their schedules. This is along with my dault meds. . . I havent had a flare that has gone on for this many days, this severely in years. I called my neuro yeaterday and I've got a script for Medrol waiting for me this morning. If this doesnt work I'll go to the ER. . . As you can see, I still have my constant compamions, Marm (sleeping on my legs) and Brigid. Today was a very bad migraine pain day. So this is a Missy view of what I see from my cozy spot in the corner of the sofa looking out into the living room and dining room. . . As usual Brigid is laying on me and the queen is laying high on the foot stool in the rocker. Our old dining room table has been taken apart and is taking up the space of the other loveseat in the living room, in return we now have Wm's grandparents' Jacobean dining room set, ca 1925. We received a shipment of Morris belongings from Wm's SIL including the remainder of his deceased brother's things. Mike died an accident in 2003. . . I know this picture looks messy, but I look and see the cap Mike bought in Ireland; the blinky light ball from the 60s that Wm associates with home; my mothers pink lamp she was given as a little girl; my family picture wall that reminds me where I come from; my kids first Irish dance shoes on the family picture wall; a piece of a bookcase my dad made; furniture Wm made for me; and all the work Wm has done to make this old house a home. . . There are memories in every place of clutter I look. On the piano there are owls and swans and two incense burners; the bookcase has photos, hymnals, willow tree figurines, jigsaw puzzles and Latin Via Ovid. . .
