Dear diary,

I met the new neighbors of Gertrude and Felix. I went with Olivia and it was a succes. I don't have other words to describe it. Luna already feels like a friend I had forever. It was so nice to talk with her about all my things. She really understood me. And she was open about the things in her past that weren't good and nice. I hope we will stay friends.

Olivia seemed to hit it off with Emily, Luna's daughter. It will be so nice for Olivia to have a friend her age. We both were very happy when we left their home. I thanked the Lord over and over that he gives me all these things in life. Friends, brothers and sisters, and a nephew. I'm so blessed.

But something is also troubling my mind. David came to me to talk about Nora. Apparently he liked her all the time as she liked him. He just never did something with it. I could have said a lot of bad things to him. I told him to tell Nora about his feelings. I'm not sure if that's the right thing to do but in the moment I only could think about that she liked him too and they would be a very nice couple together. Ofcourse it would mean that she has to break it off with Fabian. That will break his heart and I don't want that. I don't know what to do. Should I go tell David that I was wrong or not? I don't know. I'll pray for all three of them. It will be very difficult for David to decide what he will do.

Dear diary,

We have survived day two with our sweet little Garrett. It really is an adjustment from live without a newborn. But we love it so much. Felix still has some days off work to help me out. It's so nice to be able to do this together. The new neighbors came by to give us a meal. So sweet of them. We have the best neighbors. First the Steele family and now the Palmers. And ofcourse Isaiah and Olivia living close by. We have been blessed incredible with our baby boy and all the people around us.

Little Garrett is doing great with his feedings and had wet diapers. He has been sleeping a lot. I just stand staring in the crib a lot of the time. Before Felix sends me back in bed. So nice. Tomorrow Isaiah&Olivia will come over, the after that Felix his brother. I can't wait to show them little Garrett.

Luna Palmer: Emily, here, is my daugther

Lunetta: Yes, I feel very blessed to have a greatgranddaugther

Bethany: I can imagen

Luna: my grandfather died recently so we decided that my grandmother could better live with us than alone

Olivia: I'm sorry for you loss

Bethany: I'm sorry too. How old was he?

Lunetta: he was 97 years old, almost 98

Bethany: That is such a old age

Lunetta: Yes, yes, indeed. We were married for 69 years. With one daughter, one granddaughter and one greatgranddaughter. We were incredebly blessed

Bethany: wow, 69 years

Luna: yeah, it's such a long time

Bethany: and your husband is at work?

Luna: no, I'm not married

Olivia: oh, how come?

Luna: I got pregnant with Emily when I was only 16 years old. He wasn't ready to be a father. I have been raising Emily on my own.

Emily Palmer: And she did a great job

Bethany: That must have been hard

Luna: yeah, it was sometimes. Not having someone besides you, helping you, doing it together

Lunetta: You did a great job and Emily is now a wonderful woman

Olivia: How old are you, Emily?

Emily: I'm 19 years old. I'll turn 20 in about four months. In febuary

Olivia: Really? I just turned 20, about a week ago

Emily: Congrats!

Olivia: So much fun having someone my age in the neighborhood

Emily: yeah. Do you want to go upstairs?

Bethany: They are both great, and Garrett is the cutest little boy ever

Dear diary,

It was a very special day. I have a little nephew, little Garrett. I got a call from Felix this morning and it was so special to hear that he was born. I got to come over and see him and I even got to hold him. That was so sweet and special. I love that little boy so much. My very first nephew. And maybe I'll get two more. Esther is not only expecting, she will have twins. It blew my mind. We have never had twins in the family. This will be very special. Esther thinks a bit different about it I think. She already has a hard time with Tate's three children and now she will have two more. I'll help out as much as I can.

And Gertrude told me that they have new neighbors. I will take Olivia if she wants to. That will be fun. I hope they will have a little one soon too. They have been married longer than Esther and Tate. I'm sure Olivia will want to become a mother and she will be a perfect mom. She has a lot of experience as the oldest daughter.

Dear diary,

We are parents. Our little Garrett was born very early in the morning. The delivery took ages but when he finaly arrived it felt like that all was gone and forgotten. I do remember but it feels different. Now my little baby is sleeping in his bassinet. He is the sweetest little boy and when he cries it's so soft and sweet. I love him so much.

Holding him makes the world go away. He is everything that matters. I just love him so much. I do feel insecure about everything. I learned a lot about being a mother the past months. I read books and asked many questions to woman who are already mother. But now it all feels not enough. He is so tiny and helpless. He completly depents on me and Felix.

Felix is the sweetest with him. He has changed all his diapers. I only have to do the feedings. Seeing Felix holding Garrett makes me fall in love with him all over again. I just love my two boys so much. I can't describe it in words.

Bethany: I think she has a tough time with adjusting to life with three children already. Now there will be two more

Bethany: eight, I think

Gertrude: Wasn't that your age when I was born?

Bethany: haha, no, I was eleven

Gertrude: Well, eight is old enough to help out right?

Bethany: Ofcourse, I did help out when Fabian was born, I was eight or nine and with Esther I was six or seven or so.

Gertrude: See, it will all work out

Bethany: yeah, but I get that she needs a moment to adjust

Gertrude: Yeah, indeed. You have to get used to the idea of you being a parent

Bethany: exactly

Gertrude: Well, I'm happy for her.
