🥔 👨‍🌾 2 or 3 months ago I had an organic potato that had rolled to the back of my spud drawer and began growing with 5-8 eyes. I decided to throw it into the backyard (not literally, I placed it gently in some dirt and covered it wishing it the best of luck to grow). 🥔 👨‍🌾 It survived two hail storms (like GIANT hail storms), 100 degree days baking, rain, warm and cool breezes…AND KONA DIDN’T EAT IT SOMEHOW and neither did any of the creatures that wander our backyard. There’s a black bear currently showing up on everyone’s RING video nightly. Racoons and possum. Squirrels. Deer. Just so many possibilities of not making it 🥔 👨‍🌾 Our landlord does lots of gardening and didn’t know I’d planted a spud until it turned into a full plant reaching up to the sky. . I got a text from here saying, “oops! I think I found your potato plant. Pulled two of them out of the ground out of curiosity and there have got to be more.” . Here is my first harvest as a Spud Farmer in Colorado. . I can’t wait to eat them! It’s only two bites total, they’re like little tater-tot size. . #SurvivorSpud #PotatoesAreTough #Farming #RandomFarming #YouCanFarmToo #SpudsGrowInColorado #TryItYourself https://www.instagram.com/p/B2KAhMPg7ux4URiGYsbNO9tplQK6kRqCYXUQI40/?igshid=rj6rc6peq2qd
