Refreshing to see so many reaching bad faith takes about characters played by two white men for a change.
#i am getting flashbacks to my scott mccall stan days#did you know that it's possible to sincerely and aggressively criticising someone for healing puppies??#bonkers but true#occasionally it's worth asking 'how am i supposed to interpret this scene'#you can read against the text but it's worth being aware of what assumptions you're supposed to make#eg if a high school vet assistant splints the leg of a dog without supervision and the show frames this positively#you're supposed to assume this is something his supervisor trusts him to do on his own#it's meant to show that he's competent and compassionate#impressing the pretty girl might be a bonus but you're not supposed to assume he's doing something reckless that is going to hurt the dog#suspend your disbelief a little it's a show about teenagers turning into werewolves#it is fun and good for you to accept unrealistic premises sometimes#fable talks
