Not my art, but I want you guys to see the beautiful cards I cerently bought from @svjatokart ✨ please give her a follow! Honestly, the recent AI bullshit raging on social media has made me even more appreciative of human-made art. Decades ago when I first joined deviantArt, I would go on hours long browsing just to look at nice drawings, a simple act that brought me so much joy. I spent so much of my early years creating and sharing, but the internet has gotten bigger, and the crazy rat race to fight against the algorithm has burned me out. The past few months, I’ve watched how dA, Twitter, and AT get flooded with randomly generated images that all look the same. I grieve for the old times, yet strangely it also rekindled this long forgotten feeling of happiness when I see handmade art, such as the cards above. Thank you Svjatoslava, I’ll cherish your little works of art forever.
