“Is she seeing anyone”
“…not uh, not that she talks about”
Iconic move, Dominick 👏🏼
This deleted seen 😘👌🏽 No discomfort, no cringe, just two adults who respect Amanda Rollins and give a shit about her well-being. And Carisi straight up respecting her privacy in not wanting everyone to know 🥺

What did you think of SVU 500? I feel so bad for poor Liv. Crazy ass episode.

I forgot that Olivia was underaged when she had that infamous “almost got engaged” fling. I guess I’ve read so much fanfic that it’s hard to tell it apart from canon (although I’m sure that they fumbled the ages of her and college boy over the years but I digress). With that being said I do think that they did a better job with that 1.0 info than they did with her “pregnancy scare” info which to me they did a horrible job implementing into the storyline. It felt so forced and I didn’t feel like it matched what Olivia had meant all of those years ago.
The episode was needed. I think that it was a conversation that needed to be had and I’m not surprised that they chose it as the focal point for the episode. It brought some more dimension to Serena’s character and made her complicated love for Olivia a little more beautiful. It also caused Olivia to realise that in another time she much like those she helps may have been classed as a victim.
Her throwing the tape into the water was so powerful and I REALLy hope that they pick up the lindstrom story line again even in mention because she needs it. Also I’m intrigued to see if there are even any more personal throwbacks that Olivia had said throughout the years that they can use to make these types of eps…this kind of felt like the last svu 1.0 box in Olivia’s closet… who knows, maybe they’ll bring back some of those vile perps.
All in all good episode. It was very nuanced and felt like it was having a grown up conversation about some grown up 40–year old skeletons that some people would rather forget/not acknowledge. It felt like a love letter to the people who realise later in life that they too were victimised even if it was “acceptable” and don't know what to with those emotions.

There’s just something about his eyes
They say so much, but they also just always seem so young. That feels really weird to write but he does have these youthful, soft, hopeful eyes, it’s hard to explain…emotive maybe?
And if these are the deleted scenes they must’ve kept some REALLY good stuff in, like come on
“Are you raising them on your own?”
“Uhhh, um…”
Honestly these lot are just killing me. So subtly unsubtle, Amaro isn’t dumb he must be sus 😂

The best part of this episode is where Nick try to protect Olivia. He still has her back. And I think she should accept his protection because he wants better for her. And it’s great that she understood that in the end.... they’re great partners!!!
