#sydcarmy#this is sort of tongue in cheek#but I always have to remind myself#what is the purpose of establishment entertainment#besides profit and prestige?#propaganda#sydcarmy doesn't serve the status quo#so it's not useful as propaganda#sydcarmy would be uncommon because of race and because they are supposed to be equal partners in the business#it's true they would be an instance of male/female leads being paired#but they don't tick off enough status quo boxes to function as effective propaganda for the establishment#I would be happy to be proven wrong but I won't hold my breath
