So in etwa oder. Als ich mit Blockadia im Synnika ausgestellt habe, hatten wir Lautsprecher direkt auf dem Glas kleben. Ich erinnere mich, dass mir da schon mal wer versucht hat die Technik beizubiegen ;)

In the third part of our online series, we move into "deep waters": A lot of narratives can be found between a single drop and the ocean, bringing together four reflections that reveal some insights: The contributions unfold fictional, factual, unknowable, sometimes accidentally discovered worlds and leave us with a gut feeling "full of sticky questions." This time the format consists of 15-minute segments, accompanied by a 5-minute break to hang out, keep dreaming or ask yourself even more questions.

Im dritten Teil unserer Online-Reihe bewegen wir uns in "tiefe Wasser". Zwischen einem einzelnen Tropfen und dem Ozean liegen viele Erzählungen: Wir haben vier Betrachtungen zusammengestellt, die einige Einblicke offenbaren: Die Beiträge entfalten fiktive, faktische, unbekannte, manchmal zufällig entdeckte Welten und hinterlassen ein Bauchgefühl "full of sticky questions." Das Format besteht aus 15-minütigen Segmenten und wird von kurzen Pausen begleitet, in welchen man abhängen, weiterträumen oder sich noch mehr Fragen stellen kann.

“With our project Soil Strings - Commoning And Compost for Synnika we are creating everyday, temporal and material intersections of the “composting” through various project stations on the roof terrace as well as installations, works and a window-film screening in the exhibition space on the first floor of the NIKA-house. Thus we show our discoveries of agreements and dependencies on the often unseen other: from the microcosm of worms to the outside in the urban space. Open discussions and workshops with the residents and guests of the Nika-house expand the space for exchange and transport of ideas and knowledge. Together we explore possibilities to rethink resources, relationships and values, and to explore renewable methods for the development of art methods for the production of art in the sense of commoning.”

Zwischen Geschichten und ihren Ursprüngen werden wir uns in einer dreiteiligen Diskussion- & Lese-Gruppe dem Konzept Kompost widmen: Was hat Erde mit Unsichtbarkeit zu tun und welche Zusammenhänge gibt es zwischen Wasser und Care Work?

In der ersten Session befassen wir uns mit Composting Feminisms and Environmental Humanities von Jennifer Mae Hamilton und Astrida Neimanis und werfen einen zusätzlichen Blick auf Maria Puig de la Casa’s Matters of Care. Speculative Ethics in More Than Human Worlds. Gemeinsam wollen wir diese Ansätze auf ihre Umsetzbarkeit in Material und eine inklusive feministische Praxis  untersuchen. Welche Ausblicke, welche Blind Spots gibt es? Was bestimmt unsere eigene Herangehensweise, welchen Lernprozess und welche Inspirationen für unseren Alltag können wir aus diesen Theorien ableiten? In dieser ersten Workshop-Gesprächsrunde nähern wir uns mit euch den Texten (vorheriges Lesen ist optional) und daran anknüpfenden Themen an, in Abwechslung mit Zwischen-Impulsen, die Raum für eigene Gedanken und Beweggründe schaffen.

“Blockadia*Tiefsee sees itself as a temporary collective, constantly changing in shape and size. Like a biopolymer or a collection of cells we knot together in order to bring about changes, to store modifications and energy and to carry them to the outside. With the possibilities of self-organization, of spontaneous disposition and responsibility, frugality, solidarity and empathy we test the form-finding of our discourses in material, substance, object and space. At the center there is the preoccupation with changes in the world due to climate change and capitalism and with that, what surrounds us under the influence of new technologies, economic and ecological forces and transformations.
