Sad news. Although Palmyra was freed from ISIS control some time ago ISIS has not backed down and has continued destroying ancient sites and attacking people. The Syrian Army has responded by fighting back and they’ve managed to liberate some villages, but ISIS still has significant ground. It has been reported that ISIS recaptured that Palmyra Castle (or Tadmur Castle) and caused more damage to it.
