SPEAKING of kalim in this part, i’m SO happy we got to see him like. actually get genuinely angry in pomefiore? like this man’s bullshit tolerance is over the moon but the second you drop off the path of good intentions and straight into the “i want to hurt people” pit, he is DONE with your ass. like he does tell vil that it’s fine as he hasn’t hurt anyone yet, but not before bitching him out for going against what he’d said earlier and overall Evil Actions. like he even rakes rook over the coals for nearly (intentionally) drinking the cursed apple juice before switching back to vil. absolutely LOVING the scarabia energy this ch

the fact that yuu needed help from leona to understand that azul’s contracts weren’t invicible thus the need for the giant vault. the fact that it took yuu almost the entirety of scarabia with help from azul to decipher that jamil was hypnotizing kalim everytime they walked offscreen together. the fact that it took 5 whole god damn episodes for yuu to realize they were having dreams about the great 7 whose statutes they pass by to get to class every single day. twst really did just diagnose us with dumbass bitch disease.
