Terraqua Summer Splash-Pit Stop

Prompt: Meteor Shower

“I’m not sure I’ll get used to traveling to worlds with Gummiships.” Terra sighed as he got up from his seat

Aqua shook her head from the pilot’s chair. “I can’t say I’ll miss using our gliders to get around. Autopilot Is a bit more convenient.” With a sigh, she turned to him and gestured at the cosmos hurtling past them. “But I know what you mean. It’s hard to stop and watch the stars with this.” 

Raising an eyebrow, Terra reached over to the console. “We can stop the autopilot and pick it up where it left off, right?”

“Yes, why do you…?”

Aqua’s question drifted away as the ship came to a stop. And with it the stars and worlds around them. On one small world, she saw the beginnings of a meteor shower as lights began to glow. Seeing the vast expanse all around them, a smile came to Aqua’s face. “I’ve got to say this is almost the best view I’ve seen of the stars.”

Terra looked over with a raised eyebrow and asked, “Almost?” Though he smirked, knowing the answer.

“It just needs one more thing.” Aqua grinned as she reached for Terra’s hand to pull him close.
