Thinking about how Eternity was adapted in TLAT and getting a lil mad the more I think on it.
#lex thoughts#universe: mcu#I don't need an exact 1-1 adaption I'm not a purist I can accept some changes#but turning the living embodiment of the literal universe into a magic wishing well was not the way oh my god#tbh his inclusion at all makes me feel like waititi wanted a really striking visual and went .oi what if we took the coolest design ever#and then made it a one time thing so that nobody can one-up me in the future. and then did it#and it is a striking visual! even if they sanded down eternity's tendrils and had him just sitting there menacingly his entire appearance#but was it really worth it to have him just be the magical plot item of the week for all of 4 minutes ???? ;0;#i guess gorr's daughter can be interpreted as one of the children of eternity from the comics but i really doubt theyre going to go into it#like at all#i want to believe at the very least that after being -used- eternity can now wander freely#and it isn't lost on me that his domain was a color altered version of the amber soul stone place thanos went to#so perhaps that's related in some way. maybe to infinity even#i could go more into that specifically but not tonight
