semi-hiatus.

hi, yes, you’ve probably connected the dots already, but i am going on semi-hiatus!

i’m quite busy these days with university, work, and apartment hunting, and i don’t want to burn out by trying to keep up with everything at once. as such, i will be taking some time off of tumblr. all of my blogs (this one, @sseojuns, and @olive-recs) will be (relatively) dry until december 2022 or january 2023. i might pop in here and there to reblog or answer asks and such, but i will be off tumblr in many ways. i’m going to clear out my ask box before i go. i will also make note of the requests i currently have, but clear out my to-do list so no one is waiting on writing that might not come.

in the meantime, please enjoy what i have on my masterlists! there’s a lot to read there, seeing as i don’t try to get rid of older writing (though at what cost, smh), and please enjoy this blog in my absence!

also, when i come back, i will reevaluate whether or not i will continue to take requests in the future, as i have always felt they aren’t my best writing. we’ll have to see what happens, but needless to say that in the new year, there will be changes to this blog!

as for ongoing projects, i have more info beneath the cut!

fandom family gifs: i will NOT have time to make and post these on corresponding birthdays. if i find the time and motivation, i might make some of them, but otherwise, i will not get to them this year. i will do my best to finish them in 2023, but i hope you will forgive me!

every movie i watched in 2022: similar to the above, i will NOT have time to make and post these. unless i’m struck with motivation, expect this project to be finished in 2023.

like rabbits and poets: after part iv (to be posted on june 25th), this series will be going on hiatus until next year, most likely. i love this project and will continue to work on it and think of it often, but i don’t have the time to give the series what it deserves right now. i might post more chapters irregularly, but that is a big might. i wouldn’t expect anything until after january.

current requests: i may or may not fill them sometime in 2023. it depends on too many factors to name, but thank you for sending them in anyway!

dawnfair au: @musicallisto​, you are, i’m afraid, the only person i’m not leaving high and dry, because the dawnfair au is quite literally one of two (2) things keeping me going right now, and you can’t even pry it from my cold dead hands. my ghost would think of ideas for this au and through sheer willpower alone, i would reanimate my fingers into typing more nonsense. i will be much slower to write than i have been in the past (though you knew that, lol), but i simply cannot give it up <3.

if you have any questions, you can ask them! though it’s up in the air whether i will get back to you.

(lol i feel like an ~official~ tumblr blog by making this post. remember back in 2016-2019 when i would just disappear for months on end and then hop back on like nothing happened? good times <3)
