Welcome back to Tentative Devotee :} Turns out the reason I couldn't release separated au poll stuff today was because I was working on this! My method of drawing comics has sort of changed and I'm having a rough go of getting back into it (+... yknow the personal stuff too.) Regardless. Enjoy this dip back into the comics. De nada, no entiendo porque me guarde tanto tiempo la historia, creo que tarde mucho en darme cuenta que tampoco era la gran cosa como para no compartirla. Contestando primero lo de "El Otro Lado de la Magia", me esforzare para sacar el tiempo para hacer referencia de los personajes, creo que solo tengo una hoja de referencia de uno de mis personajes que es mi rey Liam, pero intentare hacer algunos del resto de personajes. nun SOBRE LAS PREGUNTAS DE CREEPYPASTAS- No se que tanto habré dicho en el pasado, pero lo que puedo decir ahora es que- En caso de que haya dudas, no, Teddy no estaba enamorado de su maestro, tampoco de Sonic. Exe, mucho menos de Janny, ni de Slenderman porque HE VISTO TODA TEORIA- Solo se que a lo largo de la historia, Teddy se enamoro 2 veces. Se enamoro de la muerte, pero esta no correspondió a sus sentimientos. Y por ultimo, se enamoro secretamente de un arcángel, el mismo al que su antiguo maestro le quito sus alas. Si mal no recuerdo, lo ilusiono con la posibilidad, pero solo lo termino lastimando por mero propósito de arruinar lo ultimo que quedo de aquel rey que le quito sus alas. Pura venganza en resumen. Este arcángel intentaría hacer lo mismo con Caos en alguna parte de las temporadas, pero Teddy le advertiría de lo cruel que es este ser con el amor del resto, más tratándose de monstruos, pero Caos como un adolescente no haría caso, causando una grieta entre Teddy y Caos-

Spoiler, este arcángel le rompió el corazón a Caos y unos cuantos huesos en el camino. Tal como Teddy, por lo que al final de esa trama Caos y Teddy reforzaron su relación maestro y alumno.

Uy men la cantidad de Shippeo que puse en esa historia...

Por ultimo-

Yo no tengo ningún problema con que el resto de personas quieran hacer sus propias series de creepypastas inspirándose de la historia que planee. Pueden sacar sus AUs y todo el contenido que quieran, solo avisen si tomaran personajes como Demon, Caos, o incluso los diseños de algunos Holders que hice como el Holder del espejo o el Holder de la luz.

P.S.: Really excited for the next part of the TD Comic! And excited for more of that fic with ur twin (real life twin, or...?)! U don't have to answer that if you don't want to, I was just curious).

Double P.S.: I love Separated AUs and/or Leo Separated AUs, and urs is a very interesting take on it; plus!, ur art and comics are just so nice, cute, and colorful!

Saying that, I am now curious/kind of want more "Leo Corruption" stuff.

Hueso: Whose child is this???

Leonardo accidentally stumbled into Run of the Mill Pizza while playing with Cassandra and the kid just froze. For the first time in all of his memory, he's actually seen so many yokai/mutants.

Hueso knelt down and decided to talk to this very clearly confused child, asking if he was lost and where his guardian was. To which Leo responded with a barely coherent rush of sentences because his whole world changed.

Meanwhile, for the past 10 minutes, Cassandra tore through an entire alleyway until she herself falls through the wall.

Initially, there had been some panic because, well, a random human showed up— but Hueso's worry was settled when she kicked his shin and stood protectively over Leo.

There's a lot of Hueso and Leo stuff I wanna explore eventually through some doodles, but I hope this gave ya something! ^^

Does Leo feel happy and fulfilled with the foot before his brothers show up? Or does he internalize a lot of his feelings? If he breaks the guitar was it out of pent up frustration?

(Age 10) Leo: "... but... I still don't get why we're trying to bring the Shredder back if he... did all of that...?"

Lieutenant: "Just trust us on this, got it? You'll understand eventually."

Leo: "Hmm... Okay..."

Lieutenant: "Let's get you home now, right?"

"Trust us, you'll understand soon." A phrase Leonardo would hear various times from Lieutenant and Brute for years to come, one he holds to heart.

Yet, there's something unequivocally wrong that he can't place. Guilt twists at the thought of digging deeper into it, digging into his family's words.

After his first proper mission barely months ago, a hurt Leonardo visits Run of the Mill to chat with Señor Hueso. Without revealing many details, he brings himself to ask, "What does it mean to betray family?"

And also, the guitar thing~! I actually answered a question about it a couple asks ago. Mostly curious as to what it was about in the first place. This was from when Tentative Devotee was an entirely different thing with a different title and a focus on 'corruption arc Leo' rather than a separated Leo AU.

You are on the right track when it comes to why he broke the guitar though! A scene similar, though not quite, will be portrayed so :))

Tentative Devotee AU (TBC Soon)

Leonardo is a Foot trainee, raised and trained by Lieutenant and Brute since he was 9. Life before then is fuzzy at best. — In the past several months, he's been going on his first proper missions, quickly aware of a persistent threat against the Foot Clan: 3 mutant turtles and a human who've foiled them time and time again.

What he wasn't aware of was that they were 4 siblings who never gave up on finding their missing brother.

CONTENT WARNING! This AU will explore: Mourning of family / Mourning of a child (who isn't actually dead, but believed to be). Violence is canon-typical up to the standards of the movie— That is also a reference point for the tone of this AU. There will be cult themes and dips into the topic of cult trauma, alongside family issues.

I didn't intend for this AU to be that big, but I realized I did want to give this a go and make at least something. It's my goal to finish this project eventually.

The AU will be told in segments, comics of various points of the story.

Bonus! Miscellaneous info that doesn't play big into this AU but matters enough to me:

Leonardo is transmasculine, uses he/they/xe pronouns and is referred to with primarily masculine terms.

A version of Stan Sakai's Usagi Yojimbo comics exists and it's Leo's second favorite comic series in this AU.

'Tentative Devotee' is the name of the fanfic I was originally going to write. It was just gonna be a 2-shot fic and a way to navigate some feelings as someone who was born and raised in, and eventually left, a cult.

The initial tone/direction of this AU was much different, Leo ending up in the Foot Clan under different circumstance (i.e. direct kidnapping from Lieutenant and Brute). I found this didn't quite work for me.

I Know Trainee's nto gonna end up w Usagi in your AU becuz I know Usagi is a strictly fictional character but if it's okay with you: what would trainee with maybe yuichi or somthin be like?(again if thats okay wiyh you)

While Usagi will never be more than a fictional character within Tentative Devotee, I don't mind exploring what it'd be like if Usagi was a love interest! TL;DR

They'd meet at Hueso's. Yuichi stumbles into it on accident mid-argument with Chizu when trying to navigate New York for some sorta mission. Maybe they'd start dating pre-Shredder and he'd support Leonardo through their "everything I knew about my life was a lie" identity crisis

This is purely hypothetical and an AU within an AU, but I hope this suffices.

Anyways, I was just going to say; while I am also very excited for TD!AU, and I love all the art, written stuff about it, lore, the comics ofc, and/or etc. (I love separated AUs. And I love Leo so much; I love the others too though, but Leo is basically my favorite in every version (so u seeing all the nice Rise and/or Rise Leo content here is nice. I also really liked seeing some 2012 and/or 2012 Leo stuff from u, because just him too, and that 2003 Raph post u did; I love them so much too ofc), and ur blog gives so much cool Leo stuff and separated AU stuff. Both urs and others. And TD!AU combines both of those things, and also great stuff for the others, and a real focus on family (like, Leo does really care for Casey and the Foot as family. And then so does his family that thinks he is dead. Like, I really liked the stuff we have seen with April, Casey, Donnie, and Hueso and/or Leo. I am excited to see more of that. And stuff with Raph and Mikey and their feelings about Leo. Both before they find out he is actually alive and after) . And Leo and Casey stuff. And Foot Leo. Also, Hueso stuff in the future. And it is going to have Usagi and Mona Lisa in some form too? Awesome!

Also, ur comic and art is just so, so good. I love ur Leo so much. And I am curious to see (though like, I say this tentatively, because I know it is very personal for you) how the cult themes play out with Leo and everything. And to see more of ur take on Foot!Leo and Separated Leo (will probably talk more about this in another ask at some point); since I love both ofc.

Anyways, back on topic; while I am always excited for more TD!AU stuff; I can wait. The comic is gorgeous, and the 2nd part was even longer than the first, so they must take a hot minute, and honestly, I can wait for quality work. And u have given us a lot of other cool stuff between comic updates (and even if you didn't, I could still wait for when you do post stuff); to tide us over.

Basically; while TD!AU is one of the the things I really look forward to more stuff about and updates for; you are still just a person, and I can wait.

I really love these headcanons for these 3! (also, I saw in a comic, that Leo used to be Venus in this, and I love that! I also sometimes see people, with transfem Leo, where people see vice versa with Leo becoming Venus after. Which I think is interesting too. Even though I also just love him being Leona or just sticking with Leo after coming out, as well as some other names and/or takes too)

I thought you mainly saw all Leos as transmac? Referencing ur Masterpost here (could be misremembering it though). Not that it matters either way; just curious.

Also, I love both transmasc and transfem for any Leo honestly (like 2012 and Rise ofc). I basically headcanon them all Leos as not straight either, I just have trouble seeing Leo being so. Though I am totally okay if others don't think so. Though, saying that, yeah, sometimes different versions, different takes, even though I do still said what I said here.

One last question about the quote and/or ask above (and just in general), what do you mean by "Just doubled down into different versions of Rise Leo specifically'?

Generally, Rise Leo specifically I see as trans with a masc-aligned gender identity!

But I see 2012 Leo as transfem. Other headcanons: 2003 Leo is aroace, bigender and sapphic 1987 Leo
