It's been a while! I'll fully admit that part of me totally forgot to make this post.

I've amazing work by everyone who joined in. My thanks goes out to everyone who did their piece on time and the amazing rematchers who put out not one but TWO amazing pieces. Thank you guys SO much.

As for how it went for me;

It was a task. A fun task, but a task none the less. I learned a lot from it like

Adding the option to NOT be matched with someone for whatever reason. I went around asking everyone this personally in 2020 and it was a huge effort.

Asking for examples of work in the questionnaire. Like the point above I went to everyone personally which took way too much effort ; w ;

This may be a two or three person effort, rather than one.

I also thank feusus and skekheck for the gorgeous pieces they did for me as a thank you [I wasn't sure if you guys were comfortable with a tag] but I'm REALLY grateful and they made me cry happy tears. You didn't have to but you did anyway and I'm so so so so so thankful for them both ; w ;!

As for now?

Everyone who didn't make a piece, ignored the rules or were rather vocal about their... disappointment in what they got will be banned from any future events like this. I'm sorry but it was really hard to tell people that they had to wait longer. There were rules and regulations and I checked in many times to see if you needed help or an extension.

I think I rematched everyone but if you didn't get anything feel free to DM me @poultry-blocks and i'll figure something out!

As for now; enjoy your upcoming summer <3 Stay nice to each other, keeping pouring love into this fandom and I'll see you sometime, very soon!

Matching Week is upon us!

Sign ups are officially closed! Thank you all who signed up! Today I will start matching but let me say something right out of the gate;

I am already getting rude, snarky and down right mean messages before matching has even started. I would like to remind everyone that I’m doing this alone. I cannot respond to you within a certain time frame because I have a job and a personal life. I want to ask that you remain respectful towards me. I understand the frustration of me not getting back at you within a few minutes but let me breath. 

How will matching work

I will send you a message with who you’ll be matching to! In that message are the details, the person’s handle, their preferences, etc. Again, matching is 100% random, though I tried to match people who like skeksis with one another, people who prefer gelfling with one another and people who like urRu with one another. 

If you have a strong objection against making something for this person let me know WITHIN 24 hours of matching.

I will try to match half the people today and the other half tomorrow. Please stay calm. I have everyone’s names and I’ve already matched you all, I just need to contact you! Don’t panic. 

How will posting work

You’ll post your work on tumblr or twitter using the hashtag; ‘TDC Secret Santa 2020′ or ‘TDCSecretSanta2020′, I’ll be tracking those tags and reblogging everything as well. 

You can upload things to YouTube. TikTok or AO3 but please make a tumblr/twitter post about it. 

Feel free to tag the person you are gifting to and leave them a nice message.

Post your works before December 10th 2020, need an extension on that deadline? Let me know.  

How does receiving work

THANK YOUR SANTA. A little thank you goes a long way. Be polite and kind. Retweets and reblogs would be really nice.

If your Santa fails to gift you something, please come to me. Please don’t play judge and jury yourself. It’s a fun time of year, no need for drama.
